I think it would be rare for any of these to return with BT. Maybe another operator would take them but I think impending withdrawal and manheims would be more like the result of these.

Scania's at S are in pretty avg. condition. Many have flat tyres and parts sitting in the cabin...

Does this include the ones parked at Eagle Farm and Sherwood, or is this an additional 20 currently at Virgina?

Will this be before or after the last Metroliner and Lemon are gone?

May slightly change after Fridays deluge and inundation. The Scania disposal list has a few that are definite stayers and some may be negotiable, depends on which ones the spinning bottle ends up pointing to.

Metroliners and B10L's will be gone soon as you see with the withdrawal of them from HBL, and Eagle Farm having no more B10L's either, though this may all depend on what is the outcome of last Friday's shower.

Why don't they transfer some of the 1300 series from Garden City to SWT to eliminate the last metroliners and lemons there and send more scanias from Virginia to Garden City??

SWT need diesel buses so the only likely candidates are in the 1000 series.

There were movements planned for this weekend between W & G, V & G & G to T to cover the supply of MAN Diesels for the Hornibrook contract.

V700 and the unbranded metroliner at Virginia have departed, probably to manheims or eagle farm.

I have noted V792 parked inside the front fence at Virginia over the past couple of weeks with what looks like a yellow line painted across the registration plate - is this a sign that the bus will soon be withdrawn?

I've seen 792 as well, not sure if it's paint or tape, probably denoting it's not to be used?? 710 is working again from Virginia.

I'm no expert, so just speculating. If they were not planning to use it, would they not cash in the rego? The yellow line sounds like a temporary measure to me.

BT Buses website now shows 776 as being withdrawn - I am sure I saw it in service yesterday - can anyone confirm that this is the correct fleet number that has been withdrawn?
