ACTION at Randwick Depot !

This afternoon while parking buses AEC Decker noticed an unusual (for the STA) bus parked on the staff bus area.

Ex ACTION BUS-670 with PMC 160 3385 and Scania 3713.

Well, yes, but as the owner works at Tempe it is a bit rude dumping it on your patch !!

Or can we expect to see it running on an X73 tomorrow by "mistake".

TAA727 feels sure that an appearance at Tempe is quite likely in the near future!

In the meantime 670 did try on a metrobus banner while at Randwick...

If there weren't so many legal issues with using a non STA owned bus on a STA service, AEC Decker would evaluate BUS-670 on his X73.

AEC Decker found BUS-670 much better appointed than its' UTA counterparts off that era as it features adjustable steering column, driver air conditioning, blinker stalk high beam flash, passenger bell off switch and even a fuel gauge.

As BUS-670 could be easily seen by nearly all the drivers leaving their buses at the fuel bowser, TAA727 was busy answering lots of questions from them.

Indeed he was!
Most drivers were amazed when told that I actually owned it, though also somewhat bemused when told that my main intention with it is to restore it and keep it as essentially a really big toy!

Yes most people dont understand my interest in buses and trucks.
I tell them that my toys are just oversize vintage cars, they see it a bit differently then.
Young or old people all like a ride in an old bus.
