a few days after 2 x CD Element units were transferred from TfNSW Leichhardt holding yard into R6 Leichhardt Depot, 2 x CD Element2 units were transferred from storage at R3 Hoxton Park Depot into the TfNSW Leichhardt holding yard.

Possibly because nobody perceives the Rosa as a highway cruiser! Or else the manufacturer's accountants deleted the feature from the design to save costs.

Are operators other than TSA R6 getting electric buses this year such as U-Go, TSA R3,2, Busways, CDC NSW etc?

I'd say it is a maybe for now. The BP4 has only just been released. I suspect it'll be a good while until Any TfNSW operators in Metro Sydney start purchasing new buses again.

When the nsw government published a press release regarding the successful operator (franchising of bus contracts and tender process) for Region 7 and Region 8 respectively, there was mention of a specific number of electric buses being allocated to each respective region.

Custom Denning has both Transit Systems and Keolis Downer in its order book for Element 2 delivery this year, so expect to see some Element 2s showing up at both in the coming months.

Beyond that it is somewhat unclear at when other operators will be receiving new buses. CDC has previously indicated that they would be purchasing Volgren bodied BZLs, but there is no timeline there. Busways will need new electrics sooner rather than later to replace the 30 Orana bodied buses they have still in service, but again no public replacement plan at this time.
