Bedford Bus ID??
Hi, Trying to get better info on our Bedford bus. It's chassis number is "SB3 97361 M" and it has a Frieghters Body number 60029. it was in the South of Tasmania for many years and we bought it from the West coast a few years ago. Looking for any info we can find. Thanks

Does it have two destination signs Jamie If so, possibly ex MTT. If single roller it coud have been one of a few privateers. Any chance of a photo

I suggest you do a full reply [Post Reply] - not just a quick one - and then go down to Upload attachment which should guide you through how to upload a photo. Click on browse and then find the photo on your computer and then add the file. Include a comment if you like but not compulsory

Re: Bedford Bus ID??
It would have been new late 1965/early 1966. It is neither and ex Education Department bus nor an ex Defence Forces bus (like in the photo I posted). So, it went to a private operator. The livery does remind me a bit of Willunga Charter, but I can't place the bus since the list that I have is incomplete, based on observations rather than official records. But it looks good to preserve. Does it still have seats?
