Made an interesting observation going through the Fleetlists, so here's a quick quiz. Up until now Moores Tours has had the most Denning Deckers in it's fleet with 6. But another operator has now overtaken them with a total of 8 Denning Landseer deckers - although their latest additions not yet registered.
Can you identify who the new record holder is ?

A teenage girl has died after being hit by a bus on the state’s South Coast this afternoon.

Shortly after 3pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to South Street, Ulladulla, following reports a child had been hit by a bus outside Ulladulla High School.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the girl died at the scene. She is a student of the school; however, is yet to be formally identified, a NSW Police media spokesperson said.

Officers from South Coast Police District attended and commenced inquiries.

The bus driver was breath tested at the scene, returning a negative result. They will be taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Diversions are currently in place and the public is urged to avoid the area.

Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

No further information is available at this time.

Capital Touring Services of Gowrie appears to have listed their MAN 11.220 for sale on Gumtree featuring a rare low entry coach design body, appears they haven't had it that long either. (MO 400)

"On February 3 2016, an employee of Punchbowl Bus Co Pty Ltd attempted to stop a runaway bus on Park Road, Hurstville. The employee was crushed between the runaway bus and the rear of another bus parked in front. The employee suffered fatal injuries.

SafeWork NSW investigated the incident and subsequently alleged that Punchbowl Bus Co Pty Ltd contravened sections 19(1) and 32 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011."

But I can't find any information on it through?

I can see a timetabled route for 186 that could possibly be it but this one had no route numbers on the desto and I can't find anything for a shuttle that is running without a route number of some kind.

Also this was on a Saturday evening too which around here many buses outside of routes 181, 182 and 183 in town don't run after 5:00 or 4:00 at the latest on a weekend.

I'm guessing that MAN truck and bus Sydney might be somewhere out that way as I've seen that rego getting around Campbelltown on a Busabout MAN 19.320 Bustech VST m/o 741 dates back to Liverpool Transport on a Isuzu LT1-11T in the early 90s then it has been with Busabout since the Neville's/Liverpool Transport operations and fleet amalgamation in 2001 where it was on a Liverpool Transport accredited Volvo B10B acquired from Coffs Harbour Bus Lines in 2000 then the Volvo came over to region 15 with accreditation for Nevilles Bus Service Smeaton Grange in 2014 where it spent the rest of it's life witch would of been a year or so then the MAN received the rego from new

They would be their charter only buses. If you look at the liveries I think all but one are in some form of charter livery as was discussed on here some time ago. I was surprised that coach m/o 8306 is not there as it has been a charter vehicle even back in its Crowther days and is in charter livery although surprisingly I saw it on route service for the first time for ages last week.
Some of the buses concerned are too old to be registered as m/o buses now.

It must be in that goldilocks age where it's a useful spare bus but doesn't adversely affect average fleet age enough to be cascaded to charter only duties.

Nothing to do with goldilocks, 8306 and the other K94IBs are contract buses. Transdev’s off-contract O405s, B10Ms have had their m/o plate regos expire during COVID restrictions and have just been re-reg onto TV plates.

The numerous bus stop removals relates to Sydney's Bus Future 2013 and the TfNSW / RMS Bus Priority Program.
Or maybe Hurstville to Concord Hospital and Marsfield to Burwood (Railway Pde) - since the former termination arrangement would involve utilising a roundabout at the end of Hospital Road rather than terminating randomly in the middle of busy Concord Road near Rhodes Station.

I guess this sort of thing wouldn't be happening in a hurry either.

I've seen that ex 316FCE (Mercedes OH1316 Volgren NZ) has shown up for sale on Pickels located at Milperra, apparently the bus is "locked" so they can't inspect how many KM's the bus has done or it's transmission, it is also missing a mirror.

That doesn't sound compliant with Australian consumer law.
Another example of the arrogant cavalier attitude of the Australian bus industry. They think they are immune from the law.

Not much consumer protection at an auction; caveat emptor.. WYSIWYG. If you can't get the clarification you need, don't bid on it.
Possibly locked by the finance company selling it.
