Don't know which timetable 281 will be appearing on, TP hasn't had the online timetables updated yet. Yes, if a route is not numbered in the 7XX (or 6XX for that matter) range, it is just about certain to get a printed TT.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Just saw from the Transperth timetables site, there's time and route changes on 22 March 2020 and 5 April 2020. (Note: the 5 April changes had been postponed until 16 August on the same year)

From 22 March 2020
  • Routes 178, 179: The timed stop point is changed from near Armstrong Road to near Manning Road, and no time changes are made
From 5 April 2020
  • Route 512 and 514 to Murdoch is to be changed using the Murdoch Drive (Roe Highway northbound) on ramp, no time changes are made
  • Trip reduction for routes 334, 336 and 337
  • Minor time changes for routes 335, 353 and 355
  • Additional trip for route 355 to Whitfords on weekdays
  • Additional trips for route 955 on weekdays, several trips are extending from Bassendean to Morley for the full route, also have earlier starting times and later ending time for weekends as well
Transperth website wrote: Routes 334, 335, 336, 337, 353, 355 and 955 - Service Changes

Sun 05 Apr

From Sunday 5 April services in the Ellenbrook area will undergo changes as follows:
  • Routes 334, 336 and 337 will undergo time changes and run fewer services due to poor patronage.
  • Routes 335, 353 and 355 will undergo time changes.
  • Route 955 will undergo time changes with additional services running between Bassendean Station and Morley Bus Station.
Transperth website wrote: Routes 512 and 514 - Route Changes

Mon 06 Apr

From early April, routes 512 and 514 will undergo a route change in Murdoch due to the completion of the Murdoch Dr/Roe Hwy connection.

This change is likely to occur on Monday 6 April, however, it is dependent on the road works in the area being complete.

This change will primarily affect passengers travelling to and from Murdoch Pines Estate or Lakeside Recreation Centre.

View the maps to see where these services will run.

Route 512 map

Route 514 map

The following stops will be affected as part of this change:
  • Stop 20388 (Farrington Rd before Murdoch Dr) will no longer be served.
The nearest alternative stop is Stop 27950 on (Murdoch Dr before Farrington Rd)
  • Stop 28058 (Farrington Rd before Murdoch Dr) will move approximately 100m towards Baker Ct[/lust]

And there will be an additional 374 in the afternoon from Mercy Coll. to Landsdale Farm from Monday 23rd March.

The 282/283 timetable hasn't even been updated to reflect the removal of one trip. I wonder if the date on the website is wrong and the 741 is still operating for now?

More like Roe 7.5 ideally it should be Roe 8 unfortunately politics and a vocal minority of protesters got in the way of progress. You can’t access Roe highway from Farrington road or Bibra Drive just more rat running through Karel Ave. I recently drove through Murdoch and it’s a complete disaster, the 3 point traffic controlled roundabout at Bibra Drive won’t achieve much. I’m on the fence about how well the high street upgrade will relieve things and there’s been no talk of the outer harbour at all period. $100 million for a road project that won’t fix congestion or make any real improvements to public transport mainly buses it’s a disgrace.

The route 376 (Sheet 2) also have the same map misdrawn which was re-released on the 15/03/2020 timetable, while the routes 512 and 514 (sheet 5) were pre-drawn their routes per 12/04/2020 changes.

I too thought their altered version wasn't ideal, but given Farrington Road is already chockas, adding more traffic to it or Bibra Drive/Progress Drive/Hope Rd as a result of improved Roe Highway access would be undesirable. Am guessing this link will ease issues experienced in the Murdoch area as a result of the lack of direct link to the freeway & Roe Highway.
Access to Roe Highway from Bibra/North Lake and surrounds will be an ongoing issue until such a time Roe8 etc are constructed (if they are at all).

It's unfortunate buses will be somewhat inconvenienced by this - I personally don't see it taking the same amount of time, but we shall see. The 512 passes directly by Murdoch University and could easily service it, and be of significantly greater use to the surrounding community than servicing those two extra stops around Murdoch Chase.
Example - If you lived around Coolbellup - you have the time taken to access your bus stop, a 10-15min ride on a 512 to Murdoch Station, waiting time, then a 204-207 or 998 to the Uni. It is FAR quicker to walk.

Sun 24 May
From Sunday 24 May there will be a change to the location of stops along William St in Perth. These stops will be relocated along William St towards the river due to safety concerns at the Murray St intersection.

This change will affect routes 41, 42, 48, 55, 60, 66, 67, 68, 950, Blue and Red CATs.

These routes, except for Route 60, will continue to service the same stop numbers. Route 60 will now service William St - Stand 1.

Download a map of the new stop locations.

Having witnessed (and experienced) the struggle encountered by the 30, 31 and 34 as they try to access and depart their William St. stands, I hope there are plans to improve (prioritise) bus movements along William St. to better-cope with the relocated stands. I suppose the easiest solution would be blocking right turns onto the Terrace, but that still leaves the conga-line of cars trying to get onto the freeway, which usually block buses from the Terrace turning onto William St., too.

Seems likely the route 387 had re-introduced that portion again as it was run previously and had been withdrawn a time later.

In the original 387 changes from earlier this year mentioned upthread, the weekend short trips between Warwick and Northlands Plaza Shopping Centre were withdrawn due to poor patronage, although it seems they managed to retain some weekday trips. Wonder where they've found the money for the reinstated weekend short-workings?

Interesting the renumbering of additional school specials... I wonder if they'll bother to update one of the surrounding timetables this time? Or if this will end up like the changes around Kalamunda earlier this year where the timetable was never updated to reflect the changes made there?

Just a quick shout to those of you taking the time to document service changes. I use it try to stay on top of things to keep my timetable database up to date. As you can see in my sig, it's not been done for a few months as a lack of spare time and changing interests have taken their toll. Now that I'm on leave, I hope to get it up to date up to and including 28/6/20 changes.

Many thanks again :)

Let see if Transperth will put the route 281 onto the printed timetable per previous route modifications so far.

The other changes for the Perth CAT services have a minor time changes. And still, the stop names near TAFEs are stilled as "Central Institute".

The trips were appearing on the Transperth App, but not the website. The trips now appear on the online timetable, however the timetable linked is last year's 281/282 timetable (as at 28/08/2019). Perhaps this time they'll fix that...

915 should extend to Cannington via current 507 route, making it a joint Palmyra and Beckenham operation.

Canning Highway services between Fremantle and Canning Bridge seem to have been improved during the peak hours, at the expense of a reduced off-peak service. The latest changes mean that Canning Highway morning peak-hour services are now extremely frequent (17 111/910 departures from Fremantle between 7AM and 8AM). However, in the past two years, off-peak hour services have been cut from 6 buses an hour to 4.

Given the recent trends in 111 cuts and 910 improvements, I would hazard a guess that even before an upgraded Canning Bridge interchange opens, the 111 could already be gone completely. With the recent reductions during the off-peak, the 111 is really only a peak-hour only route. It seems hard to justify running the 111 every 7-10 minutes, when there is now the 910 every 5 minutes along all of Canning Highway, as well as the Mandurah line every 5 minutes up the freeway. Not to mention that the 2017 Auditor General's report specifically highlighted the inefficiency of the freeway routes.

The proof is in the pudding - the 111 and its ilk on the freeway are usually quite busy in the peaks whereas the 910s tend to bunch up and aren't as well loaded. Until 2012-2014, the 111 was only a limited service in the very core of the peak; service levels are still much better than they once were and roughly equivalent to 910s in the PM peak with these changes.
Short-trips to Melville on the 910 weren't the best scheme - 111s are at their busiest between Freo and Melville so the result was often a 111 sandwiched between one or more (empty) 910s. Finally, the extra buses are being put where they were most needed in the first place!

I still maintain freeway buses are warranted to some extent given train connections aren't terribly convenient (lack of time saving, train loading issues and frequency) or pleasant (poor shelter on bus stands) at Canning Bridge. What these buses do is service a niche of commuters, who, given the demographics of the areas serviced, would probably drive were it not for a hassle-free, one-seat journey on the bus. With patronage growth generally stagnant and traffic congestion still a concern, we shouldn't be trying to scare off the regulars still on the network.
