There is another new Scania Artic with dome light at Customs Wingfield(probably 1187).
R807 and R808 are at Scania Wingfield.

Why haven't the R artics been renumbered yet, when the Southlinks have? It's not like lengthy rail closures are that frequent.

Technically these should have became 1183-1185, not the new jackpot ones.

As previously mentioned they will be renumbered when all 6 have been readied for O-Bahn service.
The present numbering system will ensure continuity of numbering for this series of Scania Artcs(1843--1850).

It still seems stupid using the 1800 range with artics, when this was used by LCB to prevent conflict. It would be logical to renumber 1849 and 1850 into the 1100 range, so as to avoid the anomaly that is present with the numbers of the artics. But whilst this isn't that necessary, it doesn't make sense to have two largely separated number ranges for the same chassis, with the same company.

All the buses in the 1800 range are rigids excluding 2, and only due to LCB being in the scene for 6.5 years roughly, compared to well over 10 with Southlink and TT.

I have reason to believe that Mile End Depot's MAN SL 202 864 may have been retired

1102 sounded rather unhealthy tonight. It seemed to be taking longer than usual to accelerate at PBI, and it reminded me a tiny bit of MAN SL202 1635 before it was fixed at some point in 2017 (tired engine).

I don't know what it is with the Morphettville O'bahn equipped Scanias, but there's several that don't sound normal.

And in response to the above, 865 was withdrawn by May 2016 after it's short lived trial as a ferry bus through a flooded underpass on the 117 route.

Does R806 to R808 have the same axel as the current obahn buses or are they getting replaced like the new artics with a diffrent axel?

All 3 plus 860 are parked out the back of Morphettville's workshops.
No replacements-obviously Mile End has sufficient buses.

Saw what I think was 2821 showing 733 on it's desto this arvo. Sounds like nothing out of the ordinary, until one realises that it was going south through KW St in peak hour.

Here's some proof.

3 new Scanias being prepared for service at Mile End Depot
1045-- Bustech
R1184 and R1185 Scania O-Bahn Artics ( I imagine R indicates it can't be used on the O-Bahn)
I have seen the R1184 on a clockwise 300 service, maybe 3 weeks ago?

1102 has been like that for several weeks. Could be it's engine. It'll only get worse over time.

Noticed 806 (the R has been removed) doing an M44 last night. Are all of these former Rail substitute artics now in service on the track.
