Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
Been recently watching The Tube and Going Underground on YouTube, and getting reminded of why I hate having to commute on Friday and Saturday nights... drunkards. Drunkards on the platform, drunkards freeloading on a bus, drunkards driving on the road, including one such driver that nearly killed me in my own house some couple of years ago.
In the fresh words of the TAC: "If you drink, then drive, you're a bloody idiot."

Volgren all day, every day
Dear T80; If the decker's not a Volgren, I'm not interested.
Westbus Fairfield + Dandy Hub = perfection
Good old Collingwood forever.
Long live the potato cake.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
I agree completely. About a year ago, a friend came close to being killed by a drunk driver.
I fail to see why people have to be so dumb when it comes to drinking and driving.

According to the news one of these MAJOR fires has highly likely to have been deliberately lit by three teenage BRATS.

I hate to sound racial, but Afro Americans definitely give me the sh!ts, to the point where I called the police.
I don't recall ever finding aboriginal folks to be this disturbing.

A millennial gave me the death stare when I said thank you to the bus driver this morning, no wonder manners are a thing of the past for some of that generation.

Why would would he or she attack you for showing manners toward someone else? That's truly sick and evil.

*Looks at ATDB fleet-list for Newcastle Transport, Sees two more VST's are on the way*
I was more excited for the ex stationlink Optimuses that got transferred to Thornton & Singleton than I am to find out more VST's are coming. Their becoming as bland as the ex STA CR228L's down here.
At this point chuck Newcastle a few CB80s or more express bodied buses and I'll be happy.

Bland? Modern buses are just washing machines on wheels, regardless of the chassis and the manufacturer.
Although the 2017 Cummins are a tiny bit more audible than the crappy Scania copy and pastes which Adelaide continues to be flooded with.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
The above is worse than a Daniel joke. Cummins is a bus chassis. About 3 examples exist in Adelaide (1906, 1907 (ex Southlink 2453), and 1790).
Regarding Scanias, Adelaide is about 15 years into it's 50 year (minimum) sentence of having them infest the streets.

I found old video of a Scania L113 where I stuck a hubodometer on the back wheel with blue tack to see how it looked.

100 decibel deathbikes going past nonstop in the Adelaide CBD. Almost giving me a nasty headache.
Do those riding these sh!theaps give a toss about their hearing or well being? Does get to ya when there's 8 of them seemingly looping endlessly.

^ hearing about that gives me the turds. The bad people seem to get away with too much in this country.
That is thanks to left wing judiciary that stick to the false notion that everybody is equal under the eyes of the law and all that garbage and can be "saved".
What a f$&#wit.

Also people having phone conversations with the speaker on, we don't want to hear both sides of the rotten conversation. Finding someone who is pleasant is getting very difficult.

Hearing impaired neighbours have always been despised by me. Folks on surrounding properties do not need to hear yer blaring music at any bloody time.
Get some hearing aids if you can't hear it even when it's at 90+ decibels.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
Idiotic drivers.
This Torrens Transit driver gets stuck on a route in some backstreets. He passes the no through rd sign and ends up at a dead end. He tries to do a 3 point turn, and ends up badly damaging the glass screen at the rear. He then continues to drive it back to Adelaide as though nothing is wrong.
Worse than some Newton drivers, honestly.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
The future prospect of the Bankstown Line December shutdown for Metro works that the rail replacement buses may be operated by Transdev, which will mean pure Gold Coast filth will most likely be running the replacement service... again and again.

And here's the evidence from last night, re that unscheduled detour.
Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
SUV drivers parking them illegally when dropping their kids off to school, this one was parked over the school crossing, crossing supervisor ordered her to move, but too busy on phone.
Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
The Victorian Premier, Dopey Dodgy Daniel Andrews getting a $46,000 pay rise, he is the highest paid State Premier in the country.
He is bloody useless.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?
Umm from what I've heard down in Vic, they seem to actually be getting sh!t done, particularly in comparison to the backwater QLD Government. Lvl crossing removal, Metro tunnel, HC Trains, track amplification, more V-Line sets and services, further regional rail improvements, the list pretty much goes on.
Unless there's something pretty severe that I haven't heard about, it seems to be pretty positive to do with transport infrastructure down there.
I'll tell you this. You don't know what you have until it's gone. So be grateful that you are getting a multitude of transport improvements. In QLD, we can't even run a transport twitter page correctly, let alone manage a sizeable transport network or undertake big projects.
