Port Stephens Coaches uses Newcastle Coaches buses sometimes on their dailey run to Sydney. You could have seen it on that.

Hate to bump an old thread from 2011 but rather than starting a duplicate topic (just because this is older and hasn't had posts in over 6 years) thought I'd post here.

Anyway another Volvo B5RLEH Bustech VST Hybrid bus has ended up with Port Stephens coaches, Rego 1FW2HG (on Victorian plates). Not sure if Port Stephens fully outright own this bus like they do with the other B5RLEH they have or it's just up there as part of a demonstration. Saw it today operating a shuttle to Newcastle University.

PSC has obtained a Volvo B11R King Long Coach registered as TV 045A

From my research this bus previously belonged to Grants Coaches registered as 1KK 4XK.

They have two Volvo B5RLEH Bustech VSTH Hybrid Buses (One is ex Action Canberra, the other is Ex Various operators including a few NZ ones) they are now being used for the University shuttles full time. Beforehand it was the Scania L94UB's as you're probably aware of and the Volvo B10L Austral Pacific kept as a backup for the shuttle, not sure what PSC used to operate the shuttle with before the purchase of their L94UB's.

The UNI shuttle doesn't seem to operate of a weekend so these B5RLEH's can be used freely for rail replacement however I'm not sure what their backup is in place if the B5RLEH's need to go somewhere during the weekday, now with the L94UB's out of service I've got no clue what their backup buses are.
