1543 regularly operates a 206F that passes through Livingston Shops around 16:00, so would be leaving Murdoch Station around 15:35-15:40

2817-2830 are now all in service at Canning Vale. There was an issue that caused 2823-2829 to be delayed entering service, however this was not related to the chassis/body components of those vehicles. Can definitely confirm 2823 is in service, as I was on it last night.

For the record:
2800-2813 are at Cambridge
2814 - 2816 I believe are at Midvale
2817-2830 are at Canning Vale.

All of the CV ones have their ZF Ecolife's set in stage 3 power settings as well. Makes a difference to how well they go (ie like 2314 when it was at Kalamunda).

A number of us were well aware of what was going on with the Australind cars. For the record, 102, 121 and 122 are still at Goninnans as far as I am aware. Only 101 and 103 were back in service.

I believe that within the tender for the "C" Series EMU's, there is provision for a new DMU for the Australind service.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

Correct regarding the tenders.

It seems the length of the disruption to The Australind is starting to gain at least a degree of media attention (Bunbury Mail article, The West Australian article). I imagine frequent users in the region would like some answers about this, not to mention why they're (still) waiting on replacement DMUs, the relocated railway station plans and an improved service. I guess that train to Ellenbrook is more important...

The tender is meant to be finalised this month was supposed to be March according to the actual tender documents, they had a shortlist of three proponents Alstom, CAF & UGL JV (Momentum West) as well as obviously the current Downer Bombardier JV, however nothing has really been mentioned about rolling stock since December last year. Now given how unreliable the Australind DMU is it would be better if they just broke a promise for their 50% local content quota and go with an off the shelf model replacement I don’t think it’s fair for south west commuters to be forced onto buses for the next how many years due to rail car unreliability, NSW is ordering off the shelf models for their ageing regional fleets. Not just that the longer the Australind is run into the ground the less of a chance it is of being preserved, having said all of this consecutive governments are responsible for never having a plan in motion before this became an issue, the state government when in opposition did make a lot of promises for south west commuters and are yet to action on any of them clearly Ellenbrook is more important because it goes through a certain ministers electorate and props up the local Ellenbrook member

Also forgot to mention that the tender documents don’t include a timeline for when the Australind will be replaced just states that the first railcar will enter service in 2021 at a rate of 5 per year but given it’s the oldest it should enter service before C set 127.

The Joondalup line was closed between Whiftords and Butler all day today, went out to see what was running the rail replacement.

Usually I'll post some sort of list, but other than 3069 and 3072 all of the buses I saw out today were Joondalup/Wangara B7s so I won't bother, it won't be a very interesting list haha

Spotted 2824, 2827 and 2829 in service. Was on 2827 earlier today and only had 700km on the clock so was most definitely not in service almost two weeks ago as stated above, most likely it entered service on Monday. (Edit) Also got a ride on 2824 this afternoon and that had sub-600km showing so looks like that only entered service this week too.

B-Series 121 is operating on the Fremantle/Midland Line today probably because of AEA/AEB47 undergoing maintenance.

Some information regarding the Denny Ave/Davis road

The bridge will allow for a potential second railway or quadding

Slee Avenue will become a Cul de sac, two new 4 way signalised intersections will be installed at Streich & Davis as well as Albany & Davis including some other infrastructure upgrades to railway Ave, Denny Ave, Streich Ave and Third road including some amenity and civic upgrades to Kelmscott station which will also be fitted with Wi-Fi bridge height is 2.6m and 400m long, Denny Ave will be kept open for as long as possible throughout the shutdown local bus routes will most likely deviate along Tonkin highway as needed

Thanks for that haha, I was 100% certain it had come back from refurbishment but I haven't seen it out yet! I have a feeling 1969 might be back too (or in the very near future), since 1971 has gone away now

A bit out of date now the election is over, but for the record this coach started life as Deluxe (220). It was most recently (and is believed to still be) owned by the MUA. A summary of its history is at http://perthbus.info/report.php?vid=DELUXE220.

2765 and 2766 are still pending entering service due to an AD blue issue. 1782 and 1783 pending withdrawal once they are in service.

Also, forgot to mention this but the two NHs in service at CV (1542/43) are now parked in the graveyard so it appears their time with us has come to an end.

Makes sense since all their 2800s have been in service for a little while now

Well it's a month now since my last ride on them and almost a week since I've seen one now, so what should i say? But at least these newer Volvo's are great to ride on especially for me sitting at the very back seat.
