I've seen 1178 on regular Perth CAT shifts everyday this week, possibly on loan to Claisebrook, and just a quick question does anyone know if 1980 - 1984 are still based at Rockingham ? cheers.

Yep 1178 has been based at Claisebrook for a few months now, it's their backup bus.

1980-84 were moved to Freo around April 2017 (along with 1979, which you didn't ask about but thought I'd include it). 1918 and 38-78 are the 1900s currently living at Rockingham.

Does anyone know the operator of the Denning Landseer double-decker registered 1GTB356 (or 536?) which is currently running around Perth as the WA Labor campaign bus for the Federal Election? My guess is Horizons West, the last 'reported' operator of former Deluxe 196 [http://perthbus.info/report.php?vid=DELUXE196], but would appreciate confirmation / alternative gen.

I saw this vehicle a couple of weeks ago. The same vehicle was also in a transport/advertisement for a Union of some sort just a couple of weeks ago.

Don't have any additional information, sorry.

Thanks for that, Merc1107.
Like you, I first glimpsed this Denning 'decker about 2 weeks ago, heading towards Perth on Guildford Rd, Bayswater. Saw it again yesterday (11 April) on Great Eastern Hwy, Belmont, heading to the GF Fwy. Was driving in traffic, so unable to get a pic, only the rego. Definitely 'wrapped' for the WA Labor Party and Bill Shorten, with lots of red.

1542 and 43 have been out of storage for a while now (since around January), they're at Canning Vale covering for the 14xx B7s that are going regional, while CV awaits new 28xx deliveries. See them quite often around Murdoch, even saw 1543 made its way onto a full 998 on Tuesday :D

In other news, spent a day down South in Bunbury and Busselton, notable observations:

- 1483-87 and 1489 in service at Bunbury. Didn't see 1488 but pretty sure its there too.
- 1586 transferred from Bunbury to Busselton, and was told this was the first of a few NHs that are heading down there from Bunbury
- 1500-02 have all appeared in Busselton and are in service.
- 1158 and 1159 at Busselton and haven't been refurbished yet!

Additionally, 1465, 2099, 2100 and 2110 all withdrawn from Bunbury pending transfer to Geraldton

I think beckenham start doing some FULL 950 route during early Afternoon Peak. because i always saw Beckenham Artic doing 950.

That would mean 950 operated with 3 Primary depot, 5 secondary depot.

Primary depot which are; Path - Malaga & Bayswater, SWan - Shenton Park

while for Secondary is all from SWAn which are; North Fremantle, Karrinyup (The Artic Shift), Beckenham, Canning Vale, Southern River (NOT SURE if SR still run Short service on 950)

It would *probably be a change off, Fremantle buses don't often venture down to Rocko, and if they do it usually means something from Rockingham is taking its place at Freo.

Are you sure about CV/SR running 950s? I've been seeing BH artics on the same 950 most mornings (arrives QEII around 9:20am ish), but am yet to see a CV bus on there, and haven't seen any SR buses on 950s in a long while.

They did run the EQ - WA section only. but i am not sure now, because I saw it actually on 2016, even on my i took a photo of 25xx and 16xx at EQ doing 950. but like i said not sure is CV and SR still did 950 maybe i should check on morning peak period

Any thoughts on which these will replace? I’d say the 1505-1509s as I think the 11,12-and13xx series buses were refurbished. I may wrong here.

I personally think it's the oldest going first (which would be the 13xx's by delivery date), as 1300 hasn't been refurbished. The 15xx's could stick around for a fair while still.

1279 must be on loan to Rockingham as I boarded it this morning on the 565 to Warnbro TS. Also 1967 has been refurbished.

There's been Beckenham Artics on loan to Cambridge. At the moment, they rotate 2x artics a day between Cambridge and Trigg depots, so it's not uncommon to see B12's and stuff on 950's and B8's on NSR Feeders.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

On loan? My understanding is that 3049 is a permanent move from Beckenham (along with 3023, 3070 and 3079 from CV).

Beckenham definitely operates at least one 950 shift in the mornings, by now I've seen almost every one of their remaining artics run it, while also seeing those same buses running CBD/Murdoch/etc. feeders.
