Could this possibly be the last B8 for V? Might keep it a suspense until 2819 is spotted.

A new B8 is parked at Volgren today with registration XQ 16 BP - no decals applied but suggests 2819 is probably not far away.

If it is could that mean Garden City will be next to get new B8s to replace the Scanias? Or would they be going to another depot instead (most likely Toowong should it happen)?

Toowong will be the next depot to get new B8s.

Presumably as Toowong gets new buses, Their MANs will be transferred to Garden City as Scanias are retired.

T2819 seen spotted parked outside the garage at Toowong depot, so yes. T are getting the next batch of B8s.

On B7 S2000 I noticed a glass/plastic shield on the door that is on the drivers side. Is this new at all or do other buses in the fleet also have it? The reason I ask this is because it's the first time I've seen something like it.

The shields are likely to be rolled out across the fleet. S5100, S2003 and several of the new B8 artics have the barrier installed. As I understand it, all new buses should come with one of the two variants of barrier designs installed.

I see. I'm assuming the Scanias won't get it since they are in the process of withdrawal, but as for the 18.310s and MAN artics I'm not sure how they would install them since they don't have a door next to the driver to be installed on.
