I've seen 1182 on a handful of Camden Park shifts lately, has it been permanently transferred there? It still shows on Fleetlists as being at Mile End.

1182 has been there for just under a year at least. 1679 ended up there as an extra bus at this time as well, as it's of little value to them being CNG powered.

This morning driving East along King's road at Parafield Gardens, approaching the Gawler Rail crossing: there was a bright blue directional sign stating " Obahn Park N Ride " wtih a directional arrow pointing to the right... clearly referencing the Parafield Train Station Park N Ride - that is nearing completion of upgrade.

Have reported this through to the DPTI project manager through contacts, as it would appear wildly out of range of Obahn services. (Unless there is a drastic change to the electrification project on the Gawler Line, or the new state Government is rushing in new expanded Obahn bus services in the coming few weeks... ) quite likely an error on the signage installed without a double check

Not easy to do ar 60kms an hour driving. Nor legal or safe. But I might have a walk later today if its still there.

Wow the new Government must be abandoning any further electrification plans for the Gawler line (anything could be possible with these guys in...)
But replacing it with a new O-Bahn!!

Well the government is supposed to be building a new Park 'n' Ride at Paradise aren't they? Perhaps DPTI confused the signage for Paradise and Parafield. Maybe we'll see train commuter parking signs at Paradise soon!

Well there is two "Busway Buses Excepted" signs in on Coventry Road , one near Orleana Waters on the east side and one in Kudla on the west side. I know ex Busway Buses have been on the road for Gawler Train Substitute services but it ain't a busway and guide wheels were off the Mercedes Benz Buses by then.

DPTI have removed the large timetable holders from the entrance at Marion Shopping Centre that held about 80 timetables and replaced it with a small cardboard unit that holds about 20 timetables. It has also installed a new digital display unit(same as the one at the City Info Centre).
This is also part of the plan to reduce the number of timetables printed, and use the Adelaide Metro website.

Don’t underestimate the power of a dumb-phone and well written mobile friendly sites. I quite happily navigated Sydney’s real-time information on a phone with a tiny screen and a 100MB or less plan in early 2011

DPTI are considering removing stop 5, merging stops 11 and 12, removing 13A and moving stop 17 south west 50 metres.

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) is seeking to improve the travel times of Adelaide Metro services for commuters by investigating the location of bus stops along key service corridors.
The Bus Stop Management Plan project includes:

investigating the potential location of stops and shelters that may better serve Adelaide Metro patrons
identifying how different bus stop configurations may improve travel times whilst also maintaining good levels of accessibility
Bus stops and shelters could be relocated, removed or proposed for indentation as part of the plan.

so silly soon only a local library or the adelaide metro in town will be the only places left for timetables.

Also Stop 24a on South Rd (down) has been relocated due to the revised roadwork layout.

Noarlunga Centre Interchange has had the painters in and we now have line markings down the middle of the roadway and yellow bars on the road by each stop. Complete waste of time and money imho as it's not like we didn't know how to drive around there.

It was much less of an eyesore than a V2 CB80 when I saw it at Port this arvo. But wasn't there a requirement for Bustech to lower the window line before making any further deliveries?

During the week the two signs (east and west) were overlayed with a corrective sticker removing 'Obahn' and replacing it with 'Parafield'

Stop 43 on Ocean Boulevard/Cement Hill southbound has been moved one lampost to the south.

Edit: correction - 3 lamp posts. There is now enough room to make it wheelchair accessible however how they would get there in the first instance is another matter.
