I see that Van Hool is setting up shop in Australia, with a couple of models for release here this year.

The news is that they have received a Performance Based Standards (PBS) approval to register over width vehicles.

That is very interesting, how will it work and is it a general dispensation - which does seem unlikely.

Granted by the feds on the basis that there is in-principle support for access to the controlled access bus network in Victoria.
