Ok NF. Yes, it's White Bay, not Balmain.

No not so - White Bay and Balmain Power Stations were two different places.
see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Bay_Power_Station
and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balmain_Power_Station
Quoting from the second one

The Balmain Power Station was located at Iron Cove, 4 km (2 mi) from Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The station no longer exists and residential properties now occupy the site. This plant is often confused with the White Bay Power Station, the remains of which are still standing in Rozelle.

Well I had the White Bay facility in mind and it's location.
I got it as far as I'm concerned. No one else has to agree.
Fair play to NF though.

No - you said Balmain which is WRONG. It does not matter what you had in mind.

I know I got it wrong in name, but I meant the White Bay facility all along. That's all I'm saying.

Bingo! Swift.
I didn't think anybody was monitoring this thread.
Bunnerong power station was decommissioned in 1975. The many doorways alongside the line, with vertical ladders immediately inside, remain a mystery to me. Do you know about them?
