3095 also at Mandurah depot today.

I thought Mandurah wasn't getting any new artics since they 'inherited' all of Rockingham's old B12s?

Hi all. New to this Forum and living near Mandurah I've noticed that the last of the Renault arctics 722 has been parked up without plates this weekend, 756 went last week of March. Also new B8 3095 observed as well as the ex Rockingham B12s (Have not seen 3025). A lot of movement with the early merc 11xx and 12xx between Mandurah, Rockingham and Palmyra. Will post when I've worked out what's where.

Welcome mate =)

Did you happen to see 1808 while you were there as well? It was parked up just behind 722 without plates on Friday (got a photo of it too), but according to Perthbus it was listed for scrapping on Thursday so I'm not sure if it's still there or not. Also I posted about 3095 literally in the post above yours.

But there's been a lot of changes at Mandurah recently (Though there's plenty of discussion about that earlier in this thread). The early 11xxs (1140 - 1154) are being withdrawn now, and with 2685 (B7 rigid) and 3095 (artic) delivered now it seems that Mandurah may be getting some new buses finally!

It was still there midweek, although didn’t notice it Saturday. I think there is also one parked at the back at Rockingham.
B8 3091 is now at Rockingham which makes 3087,3089-3092. 1170 was at Mandurah on local services earlier this month.
Also unusual was 1503 heading south on the Brand highway in late February, presuming it was covering for 1206 whilst it was down for refurb.

3091 has been at Rockingham since January, 3093-94 are both at Palmyra. I have noticed the one in the back of Rockingham depot (I live less than a kilometre from there), I believe it's one of the 1150s but I forgot the exact registration. Not sure why it's there but it's been there for a while

1503 is currently in midvale depot. All branding has been taken off. Not sure what's happening with it

Probably off to auction as it's one of the oldest O405NH's

Thought I'd go have a good look this morning just to clarify.

The NHs at the back of Rockingham are ex Mandurah 1153,1154 and 1169 all are still plated.

Merc 500s. 118 and 119 also seem to be regulars at Rockingham along with allocated 120-122.

1808 is still at Mandurah as is 722 (which is now facing the opposite direction and in the servicing shed being worked on so not sure what's going on there). Ex Palmyra AOA 1179 and 1210, ex Wangara 1201,1202,1221,1224,1229 were all present.

Also noted 1801 on the Manheim auction website last night along with 1141 and 1700.

. Welcome to the board. I've journeyed down that way a few times in the past few months hoping to snag a last couple of rides on Renaults, as well as some photos. In time I might get around to sharing some of those shots here on ATDB.

3096 delivered to Path Transit, not sure how long it's been in service but I saw it today on a 950 while I was in the city

*Speaking of photos, what are the rules regarding posting them here? Most of the observations I post here are backed up by a photo or two if I'm able to get one, but I guess I don't post them because nobody else does. Anyone against posting a bit of colour here to liven up the thread a bit?

Also now at Mandurah are ex Rockingham AOA 1180 and ex Wangara 1220,1227,1228.

Noted at the Busport this afternoon within an hour were early CNG NHs 1783,1815,1818 and 1819 so they are still being kept busy along with several 13xx and 1550 amongst others which unfortunately I couldn't get the numbers.

Just to save you the trouble, most of Wangara's 1200s are now in Mandurah (making 1201, 1202, 1210 - 1230). Not sure about 1200, I haven't seen it

1639 is also back from refurb, 1940 and 1941 have also come back from refurb recently

Thanks for that. I was wondering about 1200, also 3025 which doesn't appear to have been sent from Rockingham with the other B12s or if it has its very camera shy :) and 1940 and 1941 were both in Baldivis earlier today.

Any idea what has happened to the early 500s at Rockingham? 1234 - 1241

Not sure about 3025, I haven't seen it recently either =|

1237 caught fire and was written off some years ago, pretty sure the rest are at Palmyra as I see them at Murdoch/Fremantle Station from time to time. I caught 1236 at Murdoch last week (Can't seem to upload the image here due to file size limits), but the rest have eluded my camera so far!

Also on my way home I was surprised to see 1800 and 1804 at Freo Station still in service, though 1800 sounded very poorly I will admit

i think now rockingham only has OC 19xx or the one that has thermoking aircon (beside 117-121) while the OC that has a/c aircon (12xx) is now at freo since 2017.

also just want to ask which NH at Mandurah still on service and what route usually Ex CAt Rockingham bus run

I can't say for sure about the NHs, (since the 1140-50s look like they're being withdrawn and I don't know about the other 1100s other than what's been said above) but for the 500s 118-122 are just regular service buses so I've seen them run all routes, but I see them on the 555 more often than not.

Wangara's 11xx 0405NH Diesels 1181 - 1199 are still there and are regularly roaming the north however I havn't seen any of the Wangara 12xx NH's up this way in a while. All the 0405NH Diesels which were built and commissioned in 1999 are progressively being withdrawn this year such as 1140-1159, 1300-1314, 1500-1516 and 1700-1715. Some of those NH's are located in regional areas eg: 1500 is in Kununurra so not sure how the PTA will be retiring them and what will be sent out to those locations in their place. 0405NH Gassies are also being progressively retired mainly due to CNG tank end of life such as 1772-1776, 1801-1803 and 1806-1809. I noted 1801 was being auctioned off with the CNG tanks removed. Thanks for shedding some light on the movements around Rocko and Mandurah, its been very quiet on this forum for a while now so good to see some information being shared once again. Has anyone seen where 1918 ended up after it's stint at Perth CATs ? I thought it would have gone to Welshpool like the other ex Perth CAT 19xx did but i havn't seen it around at all. All the 12xx OC Gassies are definitely at Palmyra.

There doesn't seem to be any pattern to MAndurah route allocations with old or new buses, even the circular buses could turn up anything. The only thing that seems to be guaranteed is a B12 on the morning school run and early afternoons.
The 558 seems to be one of the most interesting with Mandurah and Rocky buses turning up. Saw 3018, 1180, 2663, 2250 and 1967 the same day earlier this week for example.

It sure is nice to see some activity on here for a change!

Did 1918 end up in Rocko? I've only seen it once or twice around here, usually on a 549 so I thought it went to Palmyra. It's a Transdev bus so it wouldn't have gone to Welshpool, though I'm not sure why this one didn't go to Path like all the others

From my observations I can also say with certainty that the 7:44am 558 to Rockingham is always one of Rocko's shiny new B8 artics, and the 12:21pm 558 to Rocko is always a B12 artic :)

1500 was relocated from Kununurra several months ago. Not sure where it is now, but it was replaced by 2123.
