Yea so I've been told that must be the highest number for an Optimus bus in service they mustn't be in service just yet, apparently 2167-2169/2170 will be delivered by weeks end. Joondalup/Wangara will probably be getting a fair few that'll be used as feeder bus services for the Butler extension
Re: PTA/Transperth Bus Observations - June 2014
No 2170 just yet...69 will be the highest.
There are 2 Volvos at Wangara for driver training/familiarisation 2126 and 2149 on a temp basis. 2149 was out tonight.

Yea I know about 2149, I wonder how many Wangara will get, I really hope the diesel OCs don't go regional.

Three Volvo B12B's were seen at Rockingham Station last night at 12:30 in the morning, I think it must be rail replacement between Rockingham and Mandurah.

I saw 1947 doing a 909 Rail Replacement bus heading along Ennis Ave south of Rockingham Station last night at about 12:15am in as well, and I saw a railway track grinder on the tracks between Rockingham & Warnbro Station when I was heading along Ennis Ave as well.

But there's no option to select spaces in the route number, so a blank indicates a fault.VL6MT wrote:Either numbers or destinations can be displayed together or independently.ozi_mister_d wrote:is it possible to just display destination without numbers, or is it a programming error?
(That lack of space is a bug, BTW, as it means that two digit route numbers can't be displayed correctly.)

Re: PTA/Transperth Bus Observations - June 2014
It sounds like the driver may have just entered the destination into the Thoreb and forgotten to enter the route number (or accidentally pressed OK too early and didn't realise the numbers weren't entered). I have seen that a few times especially with the destination having to be put in via the Thoreb. It seems it is much easier to make a mistake than with the very simple, but effective ICU400 controller.
