1962 G.M. PD4106 Coach converted to Motor Home
This unit is for sale due to health reasons; it needs a little work, both body and mechanical and due to this it is for sale as is.
It will not be sold with a roadworthy certificate although it is currently registered with Victorian Reg.
The bus has spent very little time on the road over the last 15 years due to work commitments, and my poor health.
It has been up on blocks and lived in over the last couple of years.
The type of conversion that with very little work could be used while changes are made to the layout.
And the fact that American coaches had flat floors and over six foot head height they make for good conversions with flexible layouts.
I have attempted to maintain the classic look of the unit and it still has the original bus look as all windows and external panels are as the way the bus was when in service.
It is a fantastic bus for anyone that would like to have part of Australia’s transport history.
It is still running the original drive train and those that know the 4106 will understand that to drive this requires a little skill with a crash gearbox as they were fitted with a Spicer 4 speed.

I have it advertised on the Flxible Clipper web site only at this stage and I would love someone that knows and understands what the 4106’s did for the transport industry to have this unit.
