Registration Query

Question: I am turning an old PTB into a cafe, it will be registered to carry 4 including driver. I am curious as to what it would then be registered as? I am in Victoria.

Perhaps this is something you should have researched before your purchase ?

If it has only 4 seats, it won't be classified as a bus.

It will come into the same class as a van or perhaps motorhome.

Thanks for your reply to my query Baronia, I appreciate the advice. The problem with Vicroads is at times they tend not to know the answer off hand. I figured it best I ask here and take it from there. Cheers
