Building models and engineering drawings and plans

Post by Chappo007 »

Hi,

My first post because I've run out of searching ideas on the internet. I'm keen to build models of some Sydney buses, particularly the Daimler CVG6SD and the AEC Regal III. There appears to be no book with elevation diagrams showing dimensions. I might have thought there would be quite a few books around on these Sydney buses. I hope someone can point me in a direction if these plans / diagrams / engineering diagrams exist. I cant even find photographs in elevation with any specific dimensioning/scaling guide. The only option appears to be going to the bus museum and do the measurements myself - that's a trip to Sydney, not impossible but tricky to schedule.

Cheers,
Mike

There are scaled drawing of these and d/d buses in Greg Travers' 50 year book.

It is also probable that SBM would have copies of these or similar drawings
