If you just want to do imitation destos then forget MIE as it is difficult to use.

Use Mobitec ZEdit which you can download from http://www.mobitec.com.br/novo/Zedit32-R2.zip

ZEDIT is a lot easier to use once you get used to it.

Just a tip with ZEDIT, if you get a 'reduce font size' error don't do it more then 3 times in a row as this will cause the program to crash and you will loose your work if you did not save it. It is very frustrating when this happens and this has happened to me a couple of times so now I save it after the first desto then in your preferences make it 'autosave' every 1 minute.

Just select the box "Rotating Text", so when you finish one slide, press "Save..." and continue to do so until you reach the final slide for that route's direction where you press "Save, New"

print screen each of the slides, crop, then link them together as a gif. Some people like to use photoshop. I prefer to use Glickr (http://glickr.com) or Picasion (http://picasion.com)

Hey JD, do you use "8x6 Aa1" font for destinations or the 7x fonts? Also, is it 6x6 you use for the vias?

The top line fonts I use are 'D 7x8 Aa1' for example "ROUSE HILL", 'P 7x6 Aa1' for "CASTLE HILL" for the four route number destos and 'E 7x7 Aa1' for PARRAMATTA.

And the via line is 'r 5x5 A'

Yeah, you tend to find that the style that I have used makes it a lot easier to read on the actual console.
