Searching for a photo that has 16 NR class models?
I'm looking to find a photo that has around 10 or more NR Class diesel models in the one photo. I've search twice in the model section, yet I still can't find the threadm with the photo.
And I just noticed that when I entered NR Class that the search said it ignored the "NR" part. I thought search would have have counted NR in this case, as it was more than 3 characters long?

Unfortunately, that photo makes the detail too small, but thanks anyway.
While I was searching for the photos, I found that they are capable of been driven long end first.
Do those have the three sets of lights (marker, ditch & headlights)?
PS: With so many NR's, were you trying to get one of every model?

Mark V has every NR Loco made by Austrains, I missed out on the Trailer Rail & I wouldn't out lay the cost for a aboriginal NR.Newcastle Flyer wrote:Unfortunately, that photo makes the detail too small, but thanks anyway.

A Depot of NR's?
Looks more like you're trying create a "Depot of NRs"!Mark V wrote:Im a big NR fan so yes i had to have atleast 1 of every colour.
Curious, from a photo I found (I think Mark V's) the earlier version had overscale fences, and the fence under the windscreen was incorrectly attached to the body. How is the latest release compared with those two issues?

The old and new version are idenitcal body wise.. the overscale fence's (handrails) are the same on old and new NR's.
The only real differece is that the new one has Marker, ditch and headlight that can be operated by a switch located underneath the fuel tank.
There is one downfall with these new NR's though and that is where you plug a DC chip in by pulling the dummy chip out.. it has been solded in so cant be removed easily. Why they did this i dont know?? calling it DCC ready isnt the case when you have to unsolder and drill out holes to make a Dcc chip plug in.
A new NR and a old NR pic can be provided if you want to see the old and new side by side?
Cheers Adam

Yes, that would be good, thanks, especially the front.Mark V wrote:A new NR and a old NR pic can be provided if you want to see the old and new side by side?
And again, since their not cheaper models, it seems that a model has mistakes that could have been avoided.
