Wondering where those 2 new Bustech electric buses destined for Torrens Transit have gone?

There was one that Transdev nsw have trialled, not sure if same one or not.

Possibly that could be the one, maybe not.

Let’s see if these 4 buses end up getting panted into the default TFNSW blue and white livery that all new second hand and refurbished buses are getting panted into add in a GPS aquipped ticket machine and 4 opal card readers if all this happens then these buses will be cleared as route service buses or Transit Systems Sydney could use them as accessible charter buses I'm unsure if Transport for NSW have to clear a contracted operator to run second hand buses or in this case buses that have been transferred from interstate to run as route buses

I have heard this afternoon that 611 and 612 have both been retired. How many more buses can LCB afford to loose?

How about 613, is it still around?

I thought this would be a good chance to share a good news story - Yesterday I was waiting for a 560 from TTP that was 15-20 mins late for whatever reason. These things happen. As I got on board I asked the driver if the 565 would be waiting at the connection point still (despite the next 565 being about 11 mins away), and he assured me cheerfully that it would and sure enough there it was, and it got to Mawson Lakes in time for my next connection. Now I know it's a scheduled connection, but there have been numerous times in the past where these "scheduled" connections didn't occur, so well organised on all fronts there Southlink (and despite running late both drivers were as friendly as ever!)

We hear enough bad experiences so I wanted to share a good one!

He sounds a lot more professional than that er... 'Newton driver' who yelled at a passenger during the 2016 blackout because she was taking a tiny little bit longer than usual to board with her pulley and shopping bags. Yet still didn't exceed 55kph on the whole run through an open 60 zone.

There's no real need to get stressed over late running you can't prevent. Being patient and courteous towards the passengers and doing your best to make up time without breaching the road rules is the best way to do it in my opinion.

Saw something VERY unusual yesterday, I was waiting for my J1 just near the BP on Don Bradman Dr when I noticed 2517 on the other side of the road heading into the city Never seen a SouthLink bus on that section of Don Bradman Dr before. Any explanation as to why?

I've seen Southlink buses heading along Port Rd several times in the last few months. Generally Aldgate ones though.

It was likely performing a 'premium service' charter, as no charter passengers would want a clapped out NL rustbox!

Perhaps doing a 720?

I'm fairly sure the BP is on the other side of South Rd than the 720 route but that's what I first thought too!

No, the 720 doesn't use this section of Don Bradman Dr, this was just opposite the BP

Stop D2 in Grote St has been moved approx 50m west, presumably in part due to the works due to commence at Her Majestys Theater.
