I heard a comment saying it wasn't permitted to do track work anymore. I guess this obs contradicts this though. Not a bad thing.

On another note, I think 438 may be back on the road for some reason.
With extra buses needed for Rail Subs some retired SL202 might be being used.

There were several in the workshops last week at Port. Probably explains it.

Transit Times seems not working for LCB buses anymore.
Does anyone know any way to find 443?

This app has not been updated since March, and the creator no longer has anything to do with it.
I am currently working with the owner(testing) of another transport app where he has been able to source all the info from Adelaide Metro including fleet details. It is quite different from Transit Times, and it is currently being tested so that the bugs(if any) can be ironed out. It is hoped to be released for all those interested in the not too distant future.
Will keep you updated.

Great stuff. This would be fantastic news as I really liked Transit Times for being able to identify fleet numbers. Metro Mate isn't too bad but to me the fleet number is the one big thing missing.

I believe several of the 400 series SL202s are back on the road because of the demand for buses on Outer Hbr and Grange train subs. Have seen 428, 438 and 432 out today

Is there any rough estimate for it's release date?

Ex Darwin Scania L94UAs 1361 and 1362 have entered service today on the Outer Harbor rail subs. Midis 2108 and 2117 have returned to service from Elizabeth depot. The electric Bustech is currently at a bus show on the Gold Coast.

Are 2108 and 2117 at Southlink or another Admet operator? 2108 was at Lonsdale, not Edinburgh North.

I didn't think that Elizabeth Depot could be considered ambiguous, but they are operating for SouthLink in the northern suburbs.

I thought all Southlink's 2100 series had been retired

Yes, they were. That's why I said they had returned to service.

Can you see out of the windows on this one? I went on 1906 today, and it was like being in a container. Awful design, with reflective walls that were playing tricks on my eyes. The interior was still less annoying than the perfectly built SL202 replacements, but I'd be fine with a midi over any modern bus.

1129 certainly provided a very uncomfortable ride tonight. Gearbox vibrations like 423 had in March 2016, and terrible vibes in the front section too, even in the 'comfortable seat adjecent to the doors in the front section.

Most annoying O'bahn trip since 1148 in Dec 2015.

Special mention to Southlink's 2219 (Which I rode a couple of days back) the most comfortable NL202 I have ridden for at least the last 5 years. Felt like I was floating and the engine sounded perfect. No strange gearbox noises making it the most pleasant ride in a while.

Just heard a faimiliar roar in KW St in the city and it turned out to be 1812 and 1897 on some kind of outing, as well as 1466. Does anyone know anymore about this?

In short, it'd be better than catching Scanias or even NLs.

MANs 1812 and 1897, Volvo 1466 and Hino 1286 were attending an event at the St Kilda Tram Museum this weekend.

Bit of a different transport observation here....

Spent the weekend in Adelaide and noticed most of Salisbury Highway and South Road has now had it's route number changed from A13 to A9 and Google Maps also has VH Road as A9 as well.

Does anyone know anything about this change? Thanks!

Noticed yesterday bus route 163 from West Beach via Adelaide at around 6:15pm being operated by the new Darwin Artic.

Was it that perfectly built Bustech numbered 1906? That is a disaster of a bus. Put in a complaint to the DPTI mentioning the vehicle in question along with the trip time and date, and they'll be more likely to follow it up then.
