Personally, I would do the 443 on a Sunday night.

While every effort is made to run that service on time, any delay more than likely will mean a missed train connection at Elizabeth.

Sunday's they start earlier and give more options of transport after doing the loop.

That is correct, nothing to tell them apart. To my knowledge I am now the most local enthusiast to both routes, and even I haven't done every combination.

The outer suburbs will prove more of a challenge than the inner suburbs, becuase of the various shortworkings at peak which have limited returns. The 750/751 also comes to mind, with lots of shortworkings and different workings.

Good luck to you sir!

What are your plans for the 451A and 452A runs that finish in Daveron Park at about 11:45PM? This area isn't exactly like Norwood or somewhere. I'd recommend having a friend/family member meeting you at the final stop a few minutes before the scheduled arrival time, as there are no transport options except for the N224 which is an after midnight service operating Sunday mornings only.

If you wish to play it safe, I'd suggest just catching only full length versions of routes, such as 225F, 225X, 451 to Munno Para shops and back/whatever. Also, what about the 300 route? There are several versions of these in short...

I may have to skip out on these routes as what you said is very true. I live quite far from there so those routes might have to go a miss :)

I actually haven't been able to ride any buses except the M44 since Monday. I've been super busy with school but tomorrow I will be riding the 734 school route from Seaview High School to Marion Shopping Centre. A lucky chance for 2801 :D

Sounds great! What about just running every road on the metro network map for once (at least)? Like after riding a G10, then do not need to take all long run G20, G30, G40 along Goodwood Rd to the city anymore, just focusing on their different south parts. That would be much easier but not miss any scenery.

You could say the same about H30 and X30. I think this person is keen on doing all the buses and all the different route numbers.

Very keen on knowing how they go with the 451A. The only way I can see is a Saturday night. Get off the 451A with a mate. Scurry to Broadmeadows Station, get the last train to Gawler Central and the N224 back to Adelaide.

Today I rode the 734 from Seaview High School to Marion Interchange. The bus was Southlink #2823 Scania L94UA. It was a short route with no hiccups. 1 down, many more to go :D

Lt. Commander Data wrote:I'm interested about the 865 and 866 classing. Both have many variations.

For the 865 you have:
865 Aldgate to City
865 Aldgate to Stirling
865C Stirling to Crafers
865 City to Aldgate (becuase they have different routes in Stirling and Crafers, I assume they count twice?)
865 Stirling to Aldgate
865S Crafers to Stirling

And then the 866:
866 Stirling (36A) to Crafers
866 Stirling (36) to Crafers
866 Stirling (36A) to Stirling (anticlockwise)
866 Stirling (36) to Stirling (clockwise)
866A Stirling (36A) to Crafers
866 Crafers to Stirling
866A Crafers to Stirling
866R Crafers to Stirling

As you can see, many many stupid variations with no way to tell the difference other than the timetable. There's also the 821 to consider, which has two different termini in Carey Gully (25A Greenhill Road and 26B Rangeview Drive).
Almost every route via Crafers has two variations as the stops are on opposite sides of freeway
You got a real flash bus, but my one's flash one, eh

Will you do the G10 that starts at Brighton High School? There is also if it still runs a 251 and G10 that starts from Roma Mitchell College (Gepps Cross) ? I know there was a 228 that started from St Columba College in Andrews Farm not sure if it still runs
Next station is Victoria Square. Change here for all trains.

There is no G10 that operates from Brighton High School. The 320 operates from Brighton High to Marion Centre, then continues to Flinders Medical Center then to Flagstaff Hill and Aberfoyle Hub. This service does not operate during school holidays.

Will you be covering strange short workings/extended workings as well?

Two that I know of. There is a C2 on a Saturday morning that leaves GGV on the down and only goes as far as stop 80 Golden Grove Rd. It does not continue as a 548.

And there are two 548s that commence at GGV of a morning. One goes all the way to the city and one finishes at TTP. I think all other 548s commence on Target Hill Road.

And there are 150 routes that finish (in th am) and start (in pm) at Australian Submarine Corporation before then heading to stop 60 Victoria Rd. Route 333 also has a pm service that starts from the Sub Corp. and the first few 333 routes in the am start at Strathfield Tce Taperoo. And the first few 288 start at Tapleys Hill Rd (reverse in pm), early 230 and 232 routes start at stop 36G Grand Jn Rd. There's a 230 that starts at Arndale, there's a B10 that starts at stop 28 Grange Rd and from the east some B10C start on St Bernard's Rd. There would be so many others like this that I think I'd just be doing the full regular route and ticking it off the list without trying to travel every short/long variation of each.

Yeah that's probably a pretty good idea. I'll just be doing the standard, long versions of every route. I feel like it would be a little bit too much to cover those shortworkings

Today I rode the M44 from Stop 16 Marion Road to Marion Interchange. Apart from the bus being 20 minutes late, it was a normal run. The bus was #1138 Scania K320UA CB60 from St Agnes.

This morning there appeared to be tree work being carried out on the O-Bahn at Dernancourt. Was the O-Bahn closed with diversions in place between TTP and Paradise? This could be the reason for the delay.

Yeah, that could certainly be the reason for the delay.

Today I can hopefully do the Seaford and Belair Lines to get some train routes out of the way. Leave the buses for later as completing them will be much harder

Today was a very eventful day. Caught a 4000 class from Brighton to Goodwood then a 3000 from Goodwood to Belair. I stayed on the train due to heavy rain and made it back to Goodwood in around 30 mins. Got on fine at Goodwood and then the inevitable happened, a breakdown. I was a little suspicious as we sat at Clarence Park for about 20 minutes with no sign of any action. An announcement was made over the speaker that the train could not be moved. I decided to leave and walk to Stop 10 East Ave and wait for the W90 #1252 from Port. :)
