Summary of Buses in Admet v2 Livery
Inspired by interstate topics on this board, I thought it was about time the same happened for Adelaide...
Instead of going through all the individual fleet lists, you can find all Adelaide Metro vehicles currently in the 'Admet v2' livery right here!
Yeah, you may need to refer back to the fleet lists for more details on the buses, but this is just a rough guide on which buses there currently are
For those who are unsure or just need a quick reminder, this is what is referred to as the 'Admet v2' style: Light-City Buses:
- Scania K280UB/Custom Coaches 'CB80' - 509, 1550 - 1552, 1556, 1560 - 1573, 1574 (AOA), 1575, 1803 - 1823, 1830, 1831 (AOA), 1832.
- Scania K320UB/Custom Coaches 'CB80' - 1824 - 1825.

Re: Summary of Buses in Admet v2 Livery
Nice job Hawkeye, but I wouldn't say that 1900 and 1901 are in AOA, just a variation of the 'Redmet' livery with some Cityfree branding on the sides in green. I can't see any errors (but was only really checking the Hills stuff), looks good
I think (but am not 100% sure) that 1357 and 1360 (possibly 1359 as well) are in AdMet V2 (or 'Redmet') livery as well.

Yeah, I was just going by the fleetlists. By what I can tell, the fleetlists count the buses in the green City Connector livery as AOA... I'll make a little change to that in my list ayeLt. Re: Summary of Buses in Admet v2 Livery
Are you going to do a summary of buses in AdMet livery? Wouldn't be much point unless there was a repainting scheme in place. I'm tempted to do a TransitPlus livery summary, but there's only be 3 buses in it...

What do you reckon, should I even bother doing a summary of buses in the Admet livery? Like you said, I don't really see much point in constructing such a list

1311, 1381 and I'm pretty sure 1373 as well are in AdMet v2 livery as well, contrary to what Fleetlists says. Have photos of the former two to prove it.
Re the AdMet livery summary, it would probably just be easier to say that all buses except 2601, 2603, 3270, 3310 and 3311 are in AdMet v1 livery.

Yeah, I had a feeling at least one of those 3 would have been repainted by now.. But on my recent trip to the CBD, I do remember seeing at least 1 white Iveco with the Free Connector signage above the windowsLt. Isn't this pretty similar to the livery summary that already exists within fleet lists?

True, but this has all 3 operators within the same post. This list also tells you the bus, not just the fleet number! Was about time SA got something like this, as both NSW and VIC already have onebusrider wrote:Isn't this pretty similar to the livery summary that already exists within fleet lists?

I don't know which version is which. Any chance of posting examples of each type?

Re: Summary of Buses in Admet v2 Livery
Here's the few (1311 and 1381) which are definitely in Admet V2, edited below (underlined shows editing):
And just for the history files, here is a summary of buses in TransitPlus livery. Not trying to hijack this thread, just linking it on. If and when they are repainted, I'll edit this.
SouthLink:
- Scania L94UB/Volgren 'CR224L' - 3270
- Scania L94UB 14.5/Volgren 'CR224L' - 3310, 3311
>>> TransitPlus Livery Total = 3, Operator Total = 382, Percentage of fleet = 0.7% <<<
And finally a picture to show what the "TransitPlus" Livery is: PS: Hope it's OK to link that here, can't see the point in starting a new thread for 3 buses.
Edit: Since posting, Hawkeye has put up a shot of the 'City Connector' branding, rendering my picture obselete, but I think I'll keep it there unless requested to do otherwise.

Cheers for that information Data!
Original post has been edited accordingly, and now included is also a picture of what the city connector livery looks like.
Shame there is only 3 buses left in the TransitPlus livery, as I quite like it! And you're right, creating a thread for just 3 vehicles would be a bit pointless ahaha

Re: Summary of Buses in Admet v2 Livery
It certainly seems that way. Probably just as well, a white bus might confuse the public (then again, 3270, 3310 and 3311 (mentioned above) are partly white, and the former has ended up doing 222 runs, so they can probably work it out).Hawkeye wrote: Hmm, so that means there are no white Iveco's left in TT's fleet then, they have all been repainted since transfer to Adelaide?

Re: Summary of Buses in Admet v2 Livery
I believe that 1790 could be classified as a different version of Admet V2 / Redmet.
The Yellow stripe goes in the reverse direction and is infront the blue triangle.
It suits it but I personally would not consider it the same as redmet.
Maybe Redmet CDi?

Re: Summary of Buses in Admet v2 Livery
That is a valid point. At the moment 1790 is in an aboriginal inspired atrwork AOA, but before that Fleetlists listed is as AdMet v2/Jet Express. The livery on 3401 is also slightly different, but only around the destination. 1925 is also in an aboriginal inspired atrwork AOA.MrNicoster wrote:I believe that 1790 could be classified as a different version of Admet V2 / Redmet.

Also, 803-805 should really be listed as R803-R805, as that is what the Fleet number on the actual vehicle says. TransitTimes doesn't mention the "R", neither do Fleetlists (but they should)

Thought I found it a bit strange that R800 - R802 and R806 - R808 were listed with the 'R' while R803 - R805 wasn't. Anyhow, that has now been edited in the original postLt. Also, 803-805 should really be listed as R803-R805, as that is what the Fleet number on the actual vehicle says. TransitTimes doesn't mention the "R", neither do Fleetlists (but they should)
As for the point about 1790, I have made a little point at the bottom of the TT section about that certain bus. And 3401 is basically in 'Admet v2', just slightly different around the desto so not enough to bother mentioning
Also, if anyone would like to have a photo (must be your own) of double decker 1790 featured in the original post, please send me a PM...

1941-1943 have been added to the Torrens Transit section, with necessary details edited.
