CRAZY doing that there, cars coming across that at 100 - 110 kmh, could of been a nasty incident :shock:

Back then it was a 60k speed limit (as can be seen to the left just before the bus comes up). The only gutsy bit was the ditch in the median strip, that stretch of road now has cable separating the north & south lanes. Around that time the lanes were mucked around in the "Glenloch Interchange" which is what would of confused the bus driver. Funny thing is that I was in a bus that went this way (rather then Parkes Way), I sent him the different way to the City by continuing up the GDE & heading down Belconnen Way. Which by the timetable he was given took the same time as the "pre-approved" route.

Notice the photographer didnt assist in helping the bus complete the U turn.

That is no worse than the u-turn on the Warrego Highway if one comes from Esk and wants Toowoomba.
