Belconnen Interchange Demolition

Postby TP 3000 » Fri Jul 03, 2009 11:55 pm

This week while I had some time to waste I decided to check out how the demolition of the Old Belconnen Interchange is going. Here are some pictures, the rest can be found at http://photobucket.com/belconneninterchange

With demolition work underway and parts of the Interchange marked out already and shade cloth attached to the fencing it will be interesting to see what section of the old Belconnen Interchange will get demolished first up. Thanks for the update TP 3000.

It does look like the electricity/water/gas/telephone cables are being altered first. Then possibly the tower as the old bridge ways are due to go soon.
Today I decided to check out the other exit of Belconnen Interchange. Here are a few of the old Eastern Valley Way exit.
