Hobart Tour - Bus #144

After our stint @ the TTM we headed back to Metro to collect Bus #144. Another surprise awaited our participants, as we had organised John Gregory's Red Decker Co's Leyland Atlantean double decker to collect us from the TTM and transport us back to Metro to collect #144. Ivan provided an informative/humerous commentary on our short trip. Once on board #144 we headed to our next MYSTERY location, taking in some of Hobart's hilly terrain, to show the "North Islanders" (don't call them mainlanders here in Tassie) some of the problems we have to endure daily.
We travelled via an OLD trolleybus terminus @ Cornelian Bay (photo stop) then up via West Hobart & Mt Stuart (another photo stop) then onto our next location via the Southern Outlet.

I notice on the pics of the DD that it has a Ticket Validator ,are Metro tickets only can be used on this bus?

Used to use the validator when the DD service started, in conjunction with our Day Rovers. If you brought a DD ticket, that included a Day Rover.
NO LONGER USED!!
