Adelaide History - CMCMANUS supplied images Part 6
I have volunteered to continue posting the series of photographs of historic Adelaide buses, supplied on disc by C McManus, and the first 5 of which were posted here by Will, a few years ago.
I will continue using the same series of numbers (so this is number 6, Will's last having been No 5) - I will, for the most part, post the photos as they appear on C McManus's discs, apart from any re-sizing necessary to comply with Board requirements.
However, as some of the photos are very old, I might see if an enhancement or two improves the quality.
The captions will also be supplied on the disc. (If I can add any detail, I will do so, making it clear that the comments are mine, but I will keep this to a minimum).
Well - we'll see how we go - I'll start slowly, a few each day, hopefully. As you'll see, there are some real rarities here!
There is a couple of really old ones here - not within the usual rules as far as quality is concerned - I have included them, for completeness as they are on the disc, and their rarity I think permits the rules to be broken on this occasion - there are not many in this category.
Cheers,
Trevor

Thansk for the photos.
Rather than resize them to such small images, could I suggest a width of between 820 and 1000 which would look much better.

Sometimes images at that resolution exceed 300kb, so they are unable to be uploaded via the attachment function.

Yes - I'm using the recommended "shrinkpictures" site, and setting the main box to 300kb.
I'll have a go at using the width box and try 820-1000, and see what happens.
I notice the pictures Will did previously came out larger, but I don't know whether they are from the same photographer or not.
Thanks for the assistance,
Trevor

Adelaide History C MCMANUS SUPPLIED IMAGES Pt 6 revised
Previous comments apply as before.
This first disc is basically a timeline of MTT 9and some private) buses from the earliest to about the mid 1980s.
The captions give a reference number as on the disc, then a brief description, often including a bus number, and the date of the photo - I am not altering these, even if I think there may be an error (I'll not any such instances in a separate paragraph.)
