Five bus stops provided, only A in use at the present. Future expansion is for population growth and nearby Sports stadium and Hospital yet to be built.

The concourse is at ground level and lit by natural light during the day. Access .to the rail platform is by two flights of stairs and up and down escalators and lift.

looks nice,are there shops included or near by plus toilets................give it time and the graffi artists will hit it because inside looks to vunrible!and so open! :twisted:

Orion, a big shopping centre is nearby. I have been told that when the station gets busier there will be coffee shops. I think there are two lots of toilets, by the bus stops and in the concourse.
Hopefully the vandals will stay away. :D

I certainly hope they do, looks like a great station! Very modern architecture and also looks rather functional. Now only if we could design stations like this in Melbourne.

Sort of puts other major railway stations like Indooroopilly, Bowen Hills, Petrie, Ipswich, Park Road for example to shame!!

Springfield central station makes feel like you are at the Domestic airport station looking at it.
