GM Tour Day 2 June 2 Logan Coaches Pt.4

Sunday started with a ride on QOC'S Denning Denflex ex Proston to the Logan Coach depot at Logan Village, after a depot inspection we travelled to Logan Coaches Beaudesert Depot on a Hi Deck MCA and a Denning Landseer, after a depot inspection , and a noisy ride in the GM 6-71 powered No 4, followed by the limousine like ride and some beautiful semi auto matic gear changes in the PMC Leyland Tiger No 67and a BBQ lunch we returned to Logan Village for some more photography.

Glad you enjoyed the ride in the Tiger as much as I did driving it and having the pleasure in doing so. Did a few miles in these at Ventura and still a huge favourite of mine, especially a good one. Having the opportunity to have a spin in this old girl was fabulous and an unexpected highlight for me. The old girl still ran well and was quite pleased with it, even though I haven't had a Tiger out in a while. Awesome and music for my ears and hope a few others! :D 8) :D

A very nice ride and well driven, its a shame that a person travelling with me didn't ride in this instance so missed recording those gear changes, thanks.

How common were those Maxim bodies in Australia? I've never seen them in any other fleet than McHarry's.

there were approx 75 maxim bodies built with the vast majority being in victoria , some of the operators being Warranambool bus lines ,Bellarine bus lines which went to Mcharry's ,plus a host of others with one or two , warranambool was by far and away the largest operator with approx 36 of them
