I had some time to kill after work and I thought I'd go watch my family off as they head back to the UK. Luckily, I had my camera in the car and couldn't miss an opportunity to take some photos on such an awesome day.
Singapore Airlines 9V-SWV (Boeing 777-300ER) leaves Melbourne on a late afternoon service to Singapore.
Etihad Airways A6-ETO (Boeing 777-300ER) departs Melbourne's RWY34 on a service to Abu Dhabi. Etihad operate both Boeing 777-300ERs and Airbus A380s on this route.
Jetstar Australia's #JETSTARGENERATION VH-VGF (Airbus A320-232) comes in to land on RWY34 finalising a service from Newcastle.
Virgin Australia VH-YIM (Boeing 737-800) cruising in from a quaint little flight from Christchurch, NZ.
There is something else about watching a Boeing 777 coming in to land. This Qatari beauty registered A7-BEE (Boeing 777-300ER) completing its journey from Doha.
Immediately after, Qantas' VH-VZO (Boeing 737-800) finished it's flight from the top end.
Tigerair's VH-VNP (Airbus A320-232) finished it's pre-peak hour flight from Sydney.
Virgin's baby of the fleet, VH-ZPI (Embraer E190) glides in from Adelaide.
And finally, this beast of a bird, Singapore's 9V-SVN (Boeing 777-200ER) comes into RWY34 to finish it's flight from Singapore.
As always, comments/questions/criticisms are all welcome. It's good to be back in the game.
Cheers,
Mitchul

Great set of pics, I wish we got more 777s in Adelaide... We only get one a day, an Emirates one, and it arrives and departs at night time, so no opportunity for decent shots of it
