STM's annual Sydney Tramway Festival today featured the first public display of Variotram 2107.

Strangely new buses were still using the red and cream colours long after P1497 had been painted in the mid-1930s tram green and cream.

It's great to see trams from the two separate Sydney Tramway's eras side by side. Those 100 year and near 100 year old trams have stood the test of time and look amazing thanks to the care the museum has given them and now 2107 can receive the same restoration care.
