Went down to check out the W'loo Viaduct -Kings Cross end today, after three years. I have noticed the sleepers have finally been replaced. They looked badly in need of replacement the last time I was there. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the originals.
The first pic is the concrete barrier Dowling St, Southern side and the second pic shows Dowling St access point on the Northern side of the railway. There looks to be a very aged (and probably the original) wooden warning sign of the electrical currents above this entrance.
The last picture shows the portal from within Kings Cross Station.

The sleepers outside of the tunnels are unique. I wonder why they are constructed that way? Noise reduction?

The old wooden half sleeper have been replaced with Fibre-reinforced Foamed Urethane half sleepers.
