Not sure if this has been put up here before , looks like uploaded a year ago , good example to just let it go . hate to think of the bus drivers stress levels.
I learnt very quickly if something was done to me while driving to just let it go , enjoyed driving Coaches much more when I couldn't care less if someone cut me off , braked suddenly , didn't indicate correctly , the list goes on.

Re: How not to drive a Sydney bus
I learnt to never expect to be let out from a bus stop. The give way rule for buses departing a stop is useless as nobody obeys it and I seriously doubt it ever gets enforced. This has bred a mindset like on roundabouts where people still act as though the same rules apply as intersections giving way to the right etc due to mob rule and no enforcement or education.
It's funny how people are fine with giving way at a give way sign on an intersection, but don't want to observe the same rule with a bus that is ready to depart.

I am getting confused - I think so far I have read three different replies by Swift - the first two appear to have been deleted when the next one was posted.

My first one disappeared so I wrote a slightly revised answer.Fleet Lists wrote:I am getting confused - I think so far I have read three different replies by Swift - the first two appear to have been deleted when the next one was posted.
I think it's pretty plain that the bus driver acted unacceptably, so I decided to concentrate on car driver's behaviour towards buses as this is where the dispute on the video stems from.

The first one disappeared because you deleted it as you did with the second one, so dont blame it on anyone else.

I don't remember whether I did or not as it was several hours ago.
I don't know what the problem is. It's not against the forum rules.
If you want me to go please say so.

It is not against the rules but it gets confusing seeing posts being replaced by another one after it has been read.

I've learned not to reply to Swiftie until he's had two or three goes at changing his post, otherwise my reply looks stupid because it's responding to something that's no longer there.Fleet Lists wrote:It is not against the rules but it gets confusing seeing posts being replaced by another one after it has been read.
