Ritchies 433

Post by Vitalstatistix »

The first 14.5m bus in NZ. Managed to get the coach (travelled on) on the Intercity link service between Hamilton and Auckland yesterday. Fully automated transmission. Here are the details.

Ritchies 433 Scania K400EB rego HFD233

Guess it won't be long before we see more 14.5's coaches and buses throughout NZ.

It would have the Scania Opticruise transmission.

Kiwi bus builders. Sorry I also stand corrected looks like Real Journey's takes the cake. they have a Coachwork Central bodied B12B to 14.5m length built several years ago.

wow!! scotty has been promoted to a mod!!!! :P congratulations!!

HFD236 is the other one, these buses have a longer wheelbase as well as longer rear overhang, the overall length exceeds the max permitted so exemptions were given by LTNZ,auckalnd transport, enviro waikato as well as hawkes bay regional council.
