Just in case anyone was wondering ....
Late October 2016, I departed Tassielink after 6 and a half years to take up a position of Operations Supervisor with Ventura Buses in Pakenham Victoria.
It is now just over 2 and a half months into the new job and it is going remarkably well. Am enjoying my time here.
I do have many fond memories of my time in Hobart, the people I have met through the Tasmanian Bus and Coach Society plus those I met through my work at Tassielink.
Thank you all for your support over the years, particularly during my times with health issues. You will be happy to know that I have my full licence back after the minor stroke of August 16 and have actually transferred over to a Victorian drivers licence. Just have to complete the DC (PPV) transfer and a Working With Children Check before I can get behind the wheel properly. Missed driving at times, other times, nope.
All the best to you all and thank you again.
Regards,
Paul G
