I can't say I was expecting that one to be answered correctly in 5 hours and 6 minutes... but apparently it has!

I was going to jump in a few mins after you posted it, the Norfolk Island pines gave it away. This shot is taken only about 200 metres from the old 29- Kirkcaldy terminus which is close to where I grew up.
I don't have a photo to post, which is partly why I held back answering stratight away to give someone else a chance to jump in.

So i guess it's open to first in.

All wrong so far...
Here's another clue or two: it's very close to a NE shopping centre and an intersection with a 'B' light.

Correct! The picture was taken on the part of Blacks Road that makes up the triangle between North East Road and Sudholz Road.

The other terminus on Military Rd at West Bch, just past Africaine Rd? At one stage a terminus for 27x buses heading south on Military Rd, then later a terminus for Anzac Hwy buses heading north on Military Rd, now not even a bus stop?

That would be it! I don't recall any 27x services terminating there - from memory the 276 terminated on West Beach Rd (last stop just before Tapleys Hill Rd, the 277 terminated at Marineland and the 278 at Glenelg.

The turning loop concerned was used by the 268 service to Glenelg North which ceased in November 1993.

I'm sure that there was a Burbridge Rd (27 something) that at one stage terminated at Marineland but was ten later extended to terminatevat that turnaround by Africaine Rd: the turnaround was built to cater for this. I reckon later it was the 268 from Anzac Hwy that terminated there and the West Bch buses then terminated on the service road on West Bch Rd close to Tapleys Hill Rd.
There's a challenge: what route from Burbridge Rd did terminate there? Might have even been before the 3 digit routes kicked in? 27 to Richmond, 27 something (27B?) terminated by Blue Line drive in (in Military Rd just before West Bch Rd) in then returned to city via West Bch and Seaview Rd. It was this that got changed to 27 something else and continued to Marineld (later near Africaine Rd) and returned via Military Rd without using Seaview Rd any longer.

Search and you find the answer. From a 2006 posting on this board, thanks to The Mayor, with my bolding on the relevant part.
:
Route 27C / 277 - City to Marineland via Burbridge Road

The first service to Marineland commenced on 1st December 1969 when the MTT operated a service as Route 27A MARINELAND. Only 1 round trip each afternoon was provided.

In February 1977 there were two round trips operating Wed-Sun in the afternoons only. Some trips operated to West Beach Caravan Park also.

On Sunday 7th December 1980 the service was designated as Route 27C with a more regular timetable provided.

On 1st May 1988 Route 27C was re-numbered Route 277.

From Sunday 21st November 1993 Route 277 was altered to terminate at WEST BEACH by the Caravan Park. Buses continued to turn around via the former Marineland car park. the service was reduced to a night service only with Day-time services being replaced by the new Route 278 which operated through to Glenelg.

January 1994, Route 277 extended to Marineland Village. Buses turned around using the former Glenelg North (Route 269) terminus just past Africaine Road.
From 12th January 1997 Route 277 ceased operating as Route 278 was upgraded to Full-Time operation.

Route 277 made a comeback on 21st August 2005 when a new City to HarbourTown service was introduced by TT. But it was shortlived though as on 15th October 2006, Route 277 again faded into oblivion!
