Postby 2MSJ » Wed Jul 27, 2005 11:39 pm

Who have you guys met from here? It'd be interesting to see who actually knows each other.

For me, it's: The Phonj, Dave C, Will, Tom, Desto, Volvo Brown Bomber, Steve, ferro, MAN LOVER(to an extent) Austranz, Leyland4Ever and, one of our newest members magnets

I haven't met anyone yet, but I haven't been here very long..... But I might have met one of the O-Bahn drivers that frequent this board without knowing it as I catch O-Bahn buses regularly....

Do any of you do the 700/766 frequently? I catch that route almost everyday.

VenturaTiger would do those too routes more frequently than the rest of us. I do pop up on those routes occasionally, however Im more commonly on the 767.

I'm in the sorry position of having everyone know me (especially as I'm rather distinctive in appearance - no comment) but not knowing anyone, since they never wander over and introducing themselves - with the exception of Man_Lover on (I think) the Farewell M>Tram tour.

Some of the people who are also on Railpage I know though.

Don't know if it is anyone here, but he must be a Hong Kong public transport fan, at "Deckers in the Night" at the bus museum earlier this year met someone in a KMB jacket heavily pinned with Hong Kong badges, and clutching an album of Hong Kong pictures, and had a flick through those pictures while discussing trams with him.

Dont worry dude, you aint alone. Most people here hate me cos im a straight shooter. I say what I feel, and most people dont like that. I guess whatching 4 page threads on air vents on the back of buses is not my thing.

I have met quite a few of the Sydney siders since moving here nearly 2yrs ago (geez its been that long already).

I also have met enthusiasts from Brisbane, Melbourne & Perth aswell as one who is probally Darwins only bus enthusiast.

Then there are all my mates back home in Adelaide.

My list can go on but will take up to much time to type so I though just a mention of where I have met people would be better as those I have met know who they are.
