You really think so?

Myself and board member comeng301M went to the game and what a disappointing match it was. The Storm were coming back up but just couldn't make it. I guess if we had to lose, it's the right time of year to do it. I still think we can make the premiership again for 2013.

There was also a significantly smaller crowd at the game compared to the ANZAC Day match (Storm vs Warriors) a week earlier, which I also attended.

Melbourne winning the premiership is still quite possible, but I don't get how the Storm crowds keep getting smaller. Either way, the Bunnies, Storm, or Roosters are all capable of producing a premiership this year.

Yup-I believe we're second on the ladder now.
This week its us against the Cowboys-it's an away match as well. Obviously we don't play at home again until we play (gulp) Melbourne in Round 11.

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves might get a five match ban for that Grade 1 high tackle on Sea Eagle George Rose; seven if he tries to contest it and loses. Jake Friend got put on report for a high tackle on Brent Kite but won't miss any matches.

True-this round'll be a doozy anyway since the Bunnies managed to beat them-and they're like the best team in the comp at the moment!

Origin I is next week. With the three Storm greats (Slater, Smith and Cronk) on the Maroon side we may see another year of domination by the Reds.
The ARLC should put in a rule saying that players outside QLD clubs can't play Origin but we saw the consequences of laws like that during Super League.

Then what would happen? Would Victoria gain an Origin side that happened to be exactly the same as the Melbourne Storm lineup? Or would our Storm greats go play for those bloody Blues?

Now I see the issue. There's not enough teams in Victoria to form a Victorian Origin side (since Victoria's an AFL state), and basically half the Titans, Cowboys and Broncos lineups would need to cover for Origin if Melbourne didn't supply players. Perhaps if the NRL expanded we could maybe make another Origin side that involves the rest of the clubs.

2 days till Origin. Hopefully the Blues will at least win Origin I.
I can't brag about the Roosters because they had a bye this week.

If state of origin was in any way real the matches would be played in Apia and Auckland.

True. Playing Origin in a neutral state would sound better.
Anyhoo. Origin I kicks off at 7:30pm on Nine for those watching it tonight. Let me just say this:

And the Blues won last night, 14-6.
Origin II will decide whether the Blues will win their first Origin in 7 years or it will become an Origin III decider.

Yeah, we know-that is why I'm predicting that NSW will win Origin II or Origin III.

Another great Roosters win, 38-24 against the Eels at Parramatta Stadium...
The Roosters are in 2nd at the moment but they won't be there long given that Melbourne have a good chance of beating Cronulla on Sunday.

I feel sorry for those players. Parra won't have a strong side fpr a while without Jarryd Hayne to guide them... I'm guessing the Eels fans all want Nathan Hindmarsh to come out of retirement now...

Hahaha, I thought the knights was going to beat the Warriors easily, but nope..... And they beaten brisbane at their home ground (i loled when one of their players peed on the field).... I think the ladder will get a massive shake up if Warriors beat the Roosters, but i think the roosters are a tough team.....
