I guess it takes two heads to come up with that success story.
I wonder how long it will be before foreign companies come knocking at the door for a takeover.

I don't think this is how you drive a bus normally... Oops.

Bus is a Mercedes Benz O530 Citaro Facelift CNG, with a ZF Ecomat.

Cheers!

Went to a self-serve wrecking yard today, and found pretty much all the parts I need for my relatively rare/obscure car...

That's nice when that happens, but care to tell us what the car is?
I love visiting those type of wreckers where you are free to roan about and take your time.
It's so fascinating seeing all the dead cars with stories to tell.

It's a 1993 Saab 9000 CD. Going into a shop and asking for parts/accessories for it is usually greeted with "uhhhh", so it was nice to find what I actually wanted for once.

Has it got forced induction? I like my Saab turbines.
Yes, it was your lucky day getting bits for that without being robbed blind.
Good one!

No, no turbo unfortunately... Being a P-Plater under the age of 25 in SA, I can't drive turbo vehicles, with some exceptions... Yet I can drive my EL Falcon, which has more power than some of the banned cars... Go figure.

The biggest obstacle it having somewhere out of the way to stick it, without being an eyesore or a hindrance.

While it was good news about Terratec getting the orders it looks to me like they may end up in China http://www.tunneltalk.com/Company-News- ... -plant.php

How about Victoria, ACT and NSW spending $500m per year each over ten years matched by the Fed to build three single Magtube tunnels between Melbourne, Albury, Canberra and Sydney to kill the air traffic on this route and allow Terratec the experience to design and build a TBM that could drive through all types of geology.

Not only would Magtube give passengers between Sydney and Melbourne a 75 minute one seat ride but Terratec would have the best TBM in the world and stay in Tasmania.

Possibly eliminating the need to board the rogue Morphettville SL202 CNG 873 again (Adelaide's other 1636).

Passengers who arrive about 11 minutes AFTER a train is due to leave, instead of around 5 to 10 minutes BEFORE a train is due, & the driver leaves - WITHOUT THEM!

No wonder the guard & staff gave dirty looks, not that I blame them.

(* Valid reasons excepted of course)

I remember being in Adelaide station around 2000 or a bit after watching a Belair train depart from platform 1, and the driver must have stopped at least 4-6 times to enable late passengers to board. In my opinion, trains should just leave without them to reduce liability for late running. There's hardly any time to make up in train schedules, in comparison to Adelaide's very on time running friendly bus timetables.

Finding out that Perth's transport agency upholds standards that keep the Bustech VST shut out from consideration!
