Essendon being found guilty and 12 players banned from playing this year, and Jobe Watson could be stripped of his 2012 Brownlow medal.

They did the crime, they should do the time.

This made me chuckle. I'm not sure that this would be allowed at the Royal Adelaide Show, but it's amusing at least. It's a screenshot of Theme Park world, an old 1999 ish game I used to play long ago.

Riding 3269, the (arguably) best Scania AdMet has. Was walking out of Rundle Place, and it was just pulling into G2 on an 862, so I jumped on. Unfortunately, it was pretty full, so no recordings of it, and I didn't have my camera either so no pics either.

Lol, the 862 is actually an old one. It went City to Carey Gully (26B) via Glen Osmond Rd, Crafers, Piccadilly Rd, Uradlia, Summertown (u-turn at Tregarthen Rd stop 20) and Greenhill Rd to 26B. Went once a day in each direction Saturday only.

For the record, I meant route 861, thanks for pointing that out.

That yesterday was one of the most important days in the Australian Calendar when Captain Cook discovered Eastern Australia on 19th April 1770 - but more emphasis should have been put on that day.

Catching a Torrens Transit SL202 where the driver got up to 75kph on the 1km section of Tapleys Hill Rd, and managing to record it, and export into a file.

I don't know if this is the best thread for this stuff but I meet an American guy from Arizona on the Manly ferry today and he was Asian. I get that NYC and LA have large Asian populations but Phoenix? Kinda surprised me.

Did he discuss what brought him here? I'm always particularly interested in a what Americans of Asian ancestry make of it here, seeing as they have counterparts here who grew up Australian.
Was he impressed by the harbour?

Just tourism, I don't know much else.

Yes, he was impressed. It was during the evening as well so it was dark, the sun went down 30 minutes before.

Kind of funny how Americans swear though. I think he said, "oh that's bogus" instead "oh that's bullshit" and I started laughing inside.

I suppose I'm a smug person instead of a happy person today, but anyway...

So, my school's IT manager (or one of his trainee's) decided it would be smart to log every student account off, and lock them out of it. Without any warning.
So, 75% of my class lost all their work.
Reason I'm smug, I was one of only 2 people to save/finish it before it died.

Cheers!

So there's only 8 people in your class? (2=25%, 25x4=100, so 2x4=8). Lol anyway good job, I should really save/backup my work more often...

Gee, I remember the days when you had use a pen or pencil to write, and physically present your work to the teacher the next day. Sounds like the stone ages compared to today.

Well those days are certainly gone haha! There is the odd teacher now that still likes pen to paper, but the vast majority just do everything electronically now 8)

That's what happens when half of your class is either sick, wagging or on excursions.

Don't despair, most of maths is still handwritten. A few other things are, but as Hawkeye said, mostly electronic. TBH I prefer handwriting stuff, because computers generally give me the sh*ts, but we're in the wrong thread for that :P .

True, there's only 13 in my music class when everyone is there (not often), so it doesn't surprise me.

True true, maths is about the only thing that is still handwritten. I can't stand using pencil though, gotta have a pen in my hand or nothing at all haha! Surprisingly, there are a lot more kids in my classes

I hate using a pencil as well. Obviously you can erase the writing if you don't like what's there. But I feel like a young kid using a pencil. I'm also picky about the colour of pens. I prefer blue over anything. Red etc, is annoying to use.

At least I didn't have to use the aforementioned to post this
