You could replace me and my girl in that same photo with the bottom cropped out; the expressions would have been much the same.

I remember taking some shots on my South East Asia trip back in 2006 of some funny signs. I will have to try and find them and post them up.

They are probably rarer and harder to come by up there.kp.nuts wrote:They must be of higher quality in Brisbane!
Explain your reasoning for putting the slowest, worst bus on the longest route. Surely it'd be more efficient to have a newer one. Where's my 8 speed M.A.N?

Re: Funny signs you've snapped!
Its probably due to the mass floodings over there in the past months that there is limited stock, therefore increasing prices!
I have seen some of those K-Mart ads here in Perth on the back of buses. Most of them have some type of human being in there but the way they've done it makes it look like they're on sale!

Adelaide has different children on the back of our buses, and they're apparently worth $6 each...

I find it ironic that the kid has "Petrol Engine" on his shirt, yet the bus looks like a CNG!

The kids aren't only $6, they're $6 tops! Maybe $4 or $5, who knows!
I like how the girl on the right, her left ear has to give way for a certain sign....

At least they're sorry for the "inconvience"...Eagle Eye wrote:Taken a while ago inside a Red Rooster store:

It's more their inconvenience than mine if they can't provide a useable bin.busrider wrote:At least they're sorry for the "inconvience"...

But it doesn't mention the inconvenience, it only mentions the "inconvience"

Didn't get a photo, but this morning I saw a Toll Ipec truck that had been enhanced by somebody drawing the Swift and Shift logo on the rear door

i'm surprised how many times i've seen misspellings on signs like that.

Bringing this thread up a bit, finally got to go through some old shots.
This is one from 2006 when I was staying on a fairly small island off the coast of Malaysia called "Pulau Perhentian Kecil" or Small Perhentian Island in English.
