Considering you always use the wrong "there" in posts, it's a bit hypocritical of you to criticise someone else for a spelling mistake.

The group of retirees from a certain retirement village who shall not be named leaving one again their shopping carts blocking elevator access and shopping centre access. They are the most inconsiderate people I've seen so far this week already. The other week it was them leaving shopping carts right in front of the entrance doors blocking half of the entrance off. This week they've decided they needed to block elevator access as well (The whole elevator doors were blocked so if you were wanting to go in / exit the elevator you'd need to slide the carts out of your way before you exit)

If there was a fire exit door where they get picked up from by their minibus, you'd be yourself they'd obstruct that fire exit door with their shopping carts because their too inconsiderate and selfish to move their cart 5m or so out of the way so it's not blocking anything. This is the 2nd time, and it's definitely going to happen again next week.

Me - For forgetting there's Rail replacement happening between Maitland and Scone today. May have to try and make my way up to Maitland station but I'm not liking my odds sadly of being able to make it. Wednesday and Thursday I'm elsewhere :(

Parents that take children out of prams then hog the spaces without folding the prams - especially when the pram takes up three seats.

If they take them out of prams, they should be forced to fold then up. She doesn't need a jumbo pram just for one child.

That may be so for the House of Representatives but for the Senate it can certainly lead to someone with very few votes getting elected because they are nominated as second choice by groups higher up the tree.

I walk up to the Deli at the worst Woolworths store in the Newcastle region (see my post history in here to get a history of which store I'm probably talking about), I point out to the staff member I'm interested in getting something but she just looks at me and turns around and walks off to go and talk to another staff member instead, doesn't even say "sorry I'll just be a moment" or anything, we made eye contact so I know she definitely saw me. That is disgusting and poor customer service Woolworths. You bet your oath I went and talked to the manager about that one.

I got the most fake "sympathy apology" from the manager on duty. Not the first problem I've had with the deli staff here. Thankfully I only go to this particular Woollies once a week because Involved in a session and the only supermarket nearby is of course this Woolworths, no Coles but there is an Aldi but they don't really have what I need.

Then there are those lazy mothers that go around pushing a stroller with their 2 or 3 year old kid strapped in it so the kid doesn't run off

Nah, actually referring to the store who has baskets before the entry doors so every time you go inside those "anti-theft" buzzer things go off. Then again they just about go off at anyone who enters the store. No one pays attention and it is filtered out by background noise but defeats the intended purpose of it.

The Coles at Port Adelaide here in SA doesn't even seem to have censors that detect theft. Or at least not in the self serve section. I know this from personal observations which I won't comment any further on.

Melbourne St East Maitland, the road down there is in total disrepair with bumps and holes just about everywhere and the council is only interested on fixing the gutter side of the road. Then again what better would I expect from a council that spent over a million installing an overpass for one side of the road and not both?

I wonder if a certain Adelaide metro operator would fit this category.

But anyhow, getting 3 trips in a row on Custom Coaches Jackpot CB80s. Can't stand the poorly built rotboxes. Only tedBus is worse.

Facebook can be full of hypocrites in the comment section of various posts. It's widely known that no one likes it when other passenger(s) put their feet on the seats and we spend time rightfully calling it out but the other day I saw a Facebook post calling out another disgusting person for putting their feet on the seats and although the comments weren't that big (in the terms of not a lot of comments on this post) i'd say 95% of them were like "who cares" or "don't see the problem here" says the people who probably do the exact same thing themselves.

Coming home on a Hunter line train the other day, of course there was someone who can't use the little footrest bar under the seat and has to instead rest their feet on the seat across from them. He only stopped doing it when he's mate got off the train and then he put he's feet on the little footrest bar under the seat where they should've been from the start.

Probably the same pests that don't wash their hands after having a crap and eat finger food afterwards "don't see the problem here". Low standards of hygiene out there.

Exactly, I mean you wouldn't like to sit in a seat that's covered in dirt or someones shoe souls have walked in dog doo or some other questionable things on the way to the train. I only tend use Facebook for my own page / content, it's when I go over to other pages and see these kinds of hypocritical comments does it give me the S&#ts.

Suppose one should invite themselves round to these peoples places and come on in with their dirty shoes / feet and sit on their couches and see how they like it, watch em quickly backpeddle or go red on their face on their naysayer opinion

Also I learned from somewhere you can be fined for blocking the doors on trains. Great, next time I see the TO's / police on the train I'll tell em to get the school children to move on if their blocking the doors when there's plenty of free seats. I mean it is part of their duties ain't it to police matters on the train? or have they 100% turned into revenue collectors like the road side speed camera guys?

Drivers from Muppettville depot whistling nonstop, whilst enduring the pleasure of driving a mobile washing machine for a 9 hour shift. Is there any other city in Australia that has been receiving the exact same bus chassis for 11 years straight?

And also folks smoking at bus shelters (in the city this time). I honestly thought you could be fined for this, but just like the car drivers that pull up in front of buses to pick someone up and often sit there for minutes on end, or just to drop somebody off, it would honestly seem like there are no penalties whatsoever for doing either.

Real time trackers not working on Public Transport, I'm suppose to have a bus that's due to show up now and it's currently not being displayed on any real time trackers (as if the bus isn't simply running). It's probably because the tracking equipment has been turned off on the bus or the driver hasn't logged onto their computer machine on the bus. Either way it's an annoyance when you want to keep an eye how far your bus is and the tracker isn't showing up for your bus.

Some time ago, I was noticing a consistency with services not showing up. As in they were being done by premium service CB80s 95% of the time. Most of all the substandard MAN buses were showing up without problems. It's just a coincidence, but it seems to be less prevalent today.

It's possible that the run you were waiting for ran not in service from a depot, or came from a meal break. It's fairly common for express services from stop A2 (to the right of 'parliament house') in Adelaide to not appear until the start time, and it's the same with many Southlink services, due to them running not in service from Lonsdale (presumably) to the start point, which a few of them do.

Poor roadwork management - the 2:45 Duncraig Senior High departing 444 yesterday was made 10 minutes late after being deviated to turn left down Arnisdale Rd and wind through a suburban area to get to Warwick Rd rather than directly approaching it from Glengarry Dr, as per the route. Turns out they didn't even need to close it.

Also, somehow the 3:27 371 departing Warwick left 7 mins late, and by the time I got off, it was 15 mins late. Perhaps, being 3002, it shouldn't have been a surprise.

Prevailing traffic conditions, in addition to passenger loads can make all the difference. Then there are runs that will always run late, no matter what the loadings, traffic or bus are like.

There are plenty of examples where a bus can depart late, run late through the trip (even loosing more time) yet still arrive on time, or slightly early. The freeway services are good examples of this - with 114s and 115s, particularly the latter, having a lot of time allocated between Canning Bridge and Elizabeth Quay. Whereas a 111 has less time given for the same piece of road. This explains a strange peculiarity where the Journey Planner will actually suggest one change to a 111 from a 114 or 115 as it perceives the latter two services will result in a longer journey time!

It's got some negatives but also some positives.

• white people or white people that look "whiter-than-snow" but claim they aboriginals(1). EG: The people that were on "The Drum" yesterday and Wednesday.

(1) But anyone that is born in their country of origin is really an aboriginal, no matter what there background. And yes that was a deliberate non-capital at the start of the sentence above.
