I rode 1 MTA Hybrid and one Metro Hybrid in LA.

They are quite a good performer and not all that noisy either.

One of the passengers in that photo seems to be wearing a paper bag on the head. Must be feeling self conscious or something.

Sorry to ruin it for you, but it looks more like his forearm, resting on the sill of the window and supporting his head (Rodin-style). Must be thinking, "Why is some Orstralian taking shots of this bus?".
