German car making giant Volkswagen has come closer to realising its ambition to take over truck maker Scania.Europe's biggest auto manufacturer said in late February it wanted to purchase the 37.4 per cent of Scania it didn't already own.
Volkswagen has said Scania shareholders have until today to accept their offer which has the backing of Swedish bank and fund manager Robur.

I can see a total takeover of MAN happening as they are building a few truck models for VW (the VW Constellation is one of them) at the moment.
