gka472l wrote:There are to be 608 of these in all by 2016. Fleet as at 15 March 2014 below.

All except LT1-3 carry LTZ1*** registrations (LT4 is LT1004, LT608 will be LTZ1608).
LT1-3 currently on tour in various parts of the world
LT4-8 Arriva London, route 38
LT9-40 Metroline, routes 24/390
LT41-68 Go Ahead London, route 11
LT69-94 London United, route 9
LT95-117 Metroline, routes 24/390
LT118/9 Go Ahead London, route 11
LT120-47 London United, route 148
LT148-73 London United, route 10 (converts 26 April 2014, batch in course of delivery), LT150 is already in service on route 9 in a special 'Year of the bus' silver livery, I photted it a few days ago when I visityed London http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/13018487655, but will go onto the 10.
LT174-206 Stagecoach, route 8, converts in June.

HTH
Some changes to the above
LT8 is returning to London as one of the prototype Euro6 engined ones, and will be with Metroline for use on the 24 & 390
LT148-71/4/5 for London United, route 10
LT172/3 Euro6 prototypes for Arriva, likely route 38
LT188/9 Euro6 prototypes for Go Ahead London, route 11
LT190 Euro6 prototype for Metroline (along with LT8) for the 24/390
LT191-234 are thought to be for Arriva as the 38 is to have a phased conversion into May 2014, LT176-87 are unallocated, but as the 38 has a PVR of 57 or so, likely that these will also be Arriva.
LT235-68 Stagecoach, route 8, converts in June (as Stagecoach have a national numbering system in Great Britain, they are allocated Stagecoach numbers 61235-68, although probably unlikely to be carried on the buses themselves).
In addition to LT150, a few more silver examples are expected, numbers unknown as of yet.

All the LT class are owned by Transport for London, hence a standard numbering scheme from LT1 upwards.

Given that LT1-3 are on a world tour, I wonder if any of them will visit yourselves in Australia? LT1 has been to America, Columbia and Dubai as far as I know, LT2 seems to have been the Europe one and LT3 was a late addition to the tour and has visited Hong Kong, Singapore (& possible Malaysia).

Are people warming to the sight of them yet? They look interesting but I somehow don't see them ever becoming as beloved as the original London Transport- Park Royal- AEC collaboration.
But I do admire Boris Johnson for making the effort to come up with something creative for the streetscape for this day and age. I hope they at least have a somewhat entertaining mechanical package to match.

Latest routes converted to LT's or planned to are as follows

LT391-416 Stagecoach London - route 15 (also used on route 8 )
LT417-456 Go Ahead London - route 12
LT462/3 Stagecoach London - additional for route 15

Route 73 (Arriva London) should be next after the 12 & route 149 (Arriva London) later in 2015

LT1-3 should be back in London service soon, either route 38 or 73

Route 73 between Victoria & Stoke Newington has started it's phased conversion to LT's from 14 May 2015, LT352-6 transferred from the 137 (although LT356 was never used on the 137 and is new in service on the 73) plus LT464-501 at least are the ones to be used.

Ghastly looking things and without the rear door to make them workable and give them the Routemaster-ish look.
