So, what would the Glider's advantages be over a standard full low floor artic??

It's just this Van Hool articulated (or bi-articulated) bus:

For operations that want to pretend they're running a tram by having buses that look like trams, just the usual old "BRT fantasy". Some usable internal space is lost to an unnecessary full-width driver's cab. I can see this turning up in Brisbane as the mysterious "metro" vehicle that the Lord Mayor can't find words to describe and doesn't want to choke on the words "articulated bus".

I can't figure out why it's moving so slowly in this video.

Yes its an artic bus/ pretend tram. Lots of em in both Europe and America and yes its the sort of thing that Brisbane will end up with in bi artic version.

I think you meant 'refuses' - in case the punters wake up to the con job.
