How many of these longer AEC buses were built at the time? Were there any Leylands built to this length too? I hope someone does buy it so it can be preserved.There'd be some interest in the bus including volunteers to restore it.These longer versions looked much better than the shorter versions.

346-363 Comeng (18) in 1952
432-449 Comeng (18) in 1951 and 1952
501-529 Comeng (29) in 1952 and 1953
530 Ansair (1) in 1952
531-599 Martin & King (69) in 1953 and 1954
These were preceded by 30 Leylands in 1950 and 1951 with the same body style:
316-345 Comeng
The body was designed by the MMTB.
The DERMPAV group is restoring one of the AECs (560)
